I can't help but notice that the Death Star II, which was orbiting Endor, is farther away from Endor than Geonosis is from Tatooine.

Okay so I'm trying to determine what fonts are used in this book. Specifically the font of the main body and that of the headings on pages like this:

No idea, sorry. Know zip about fonts. You could ask Erich Schoeneweiss on Twitter....

So going by that (I hope I’m right) ANH is 1977, TESB is 1980, ROTJ is 1981 and TFA would be 2011 (thirty years later). Correct?

If we REALLY wanna get anal about it (and if we want to apply the old-style ReSynchronized dates to this logic, then the approximate dates would be:

    TPM: April 1945
    AOTC: May 1955
    ROTS: May 1958
    ANH: March 1977
    TESB: June 1980
    ROTJ: March 1981

I don't have any official word, or even a hint under the table, that they've done this, but since AOTC they've made a point to set the in-universe date close to that of the release date of the film in real life, so I'd like to think that TFA is December 2011. But that's just me.

I'd like to know where Atollon is located.

it's location not really known yet
but here is the Wookieepedia definition of its location
Atollon was a remote planet in the galaxy.....Atollon was located in an undiscovered zone, off a major hyperspace route.
so it's probably in wild space or the unknown regions, or on the very edge of the outer rim

Prequels were in the 50s? Considering the design styling, that's very, very appropriate. Grievous' personal ship even looks like a 50s hotrod with the N1s being early supercars.

I like how whoever's in charge is all like "Ok guys, fresh start. No more grouping planets if we can help it. Everything spaced out. None of this Kuat/Neimoidia/Balmorra BS. Get rid of that pileup on Coruscant. Make the Outer Rim border clearly go out of its leisurely way to make room for Rodia so people shuddup about it. Also no more moving planets and Bastions. Srsly folks come on. We're gonna make this the cleanest frickin map since before the NJO gotta hold of it."

Very nice cover art (pic didn't work, so I googled it and found the French publisher directly).

I'm curious about the Death Star Sizes - in Rogue One: Mission Files, AKA Rogue One: Rebel Dossier, it's "estimated 120km" but in Rogue One: Secret Mission, it's 160 km.

Was there a big change recently, part-way through the writing process - maybe having to do with the size the special effects makers were working from?

Can't recall, I'm afraid. Does the Visual Guide give dimensions?

Yes. It says "160 km (100 miles)".

It did - 160km (Visual Guide is Pablo's) - as also did Rogue One: Secret Mission (junior book, which is yours).

Rogue One Catalyst (Luceno's) had the Death Star have a polar ring instead of equatorial ring completed first ("120 km from pole to pole")

Rogue One Mission Files ended with a report coming in from Jedha of the Death Star appearing - with the Rebel reporting it, providing the 120 km estimate.

Complete Locations (newcanon version) gave a 660km Starkiller Base - presumably they started from the 120km DS1, and extrapolated to the Starkiller Base + Death Star Hologram - as appears to have been independently done here:

I'm hoping Pablo in the near future tweets something like "Visual Guide is wrong in this case, just like it's wrong when it spells Red Leader's name Garven Dries"

But I may be being overoptimistic.

I'd let the dust settle a bit and ask TPTB.

The fudge factor around the estimate in Rebel Dossier was supposed to be a winking reference to the size debates -- one that may have struck a little too close to home.

Wookieepedia says The Empire of Zakuul is mentioned in the new Galactic Atlas book. Is this true? Or is someone trolling the page?

It's someone without an account adding it and not adding any kind of justification. I'm suspicious.

Only reference I can find outside of Wookiepedia is a post in SWTOR subreddit. They didn't post any proof. Saying they'll do it tomorrow.

They said it is mentioned in the description for the Unknown Regions.

Yeah, I find it pretty unlikely. I'm not buying that Zakuul's in there until someone posts some concrete proof either here or over on the Reddit thread.
