So, Tuesday I was out driving with my driving instructor, practicing backing into parking spots and the like.

And then he let me go through my very first ever, Tim Hortons drive-through. Aside from nearly losing the drivers side mirror on that cement post thing they have before you get to the pick-up window, I did pretty good.

 

I remember my driving classes many moons ago

 

lol...it says a lot about a place when driver's ed includes how to do a timmies run lol

i remember doing my drivers ed i had to go over the reversing falls bridge. anyone who goes through saint john on the highway must go through the toll booth. i hated it! i almost got sideswipped (at least i thought i almost did) and i almost dropped the coin! it was so awful! i take that route as little as possible now

 

LOL...I never took Driver's Ed. That was a summer school course that I never did...

I remember the first time I ever went through a drive-thru when I was drivin. It was a McDonald's one...I felt so important! It was amazing. lol...I did fine.

 

Wow, back in my day they taught you how to parallel park ...

 

They took parallel parkin off the driving test in Martin County (my county back in Florida)...so I never learned how...I was happy at the time...doesn't help me much now living in Sussex, where most of the parking downtown is parallel

 

You still have to know how to parallel park. Damn this province.

 

That's not enough. In my opinion, you should also know how to change a tire before you can get your licence (have it as part of the test).

Last time I went to a driving lesson my instructor made me cry. I still haven't gone back for the second lesson.

 

Yeah, my driving instructor was evil too.

 

Mine made fun of other kids in my class when they weren't there

 

I learned from my mother.

One of the things on my "To do before I die" list is drive a very fast car on the autobahn.

 

I don't like driving, but my mother is really pissing me off with this driving BS so I guess I'll get it soon.

 

I have had my lessons and all that crap, I just need my license...but that means practicing with my mother. Not teh fun.

 

Some here Tara my mom is total freak show when I drive. When I drive with grand-father it's so much better, too bad he lives in Ottawa

 

My Mom doesn't trust me or something and she's always hitting "the imaginary brake."

 

One of my friends smashed his car during his driving test. He did not get his license that day

 

LOL the first time my mom got in a car with me, she says we almost hit my neighbor's hours, but really, we had at least 10 feet to go
if there was an extra break in my car, we wouldn't have gone anywhere! she hated me driving

my driver's ed company got shut down for sexually harassing the students

 

Sexual harrassment? What company was it?

I wound up on the sidewalk the first time I drove because I was in a clunky old mini van. I love my car.

 

For some strange reason, my mom prefers it when I drive...

My mom complains about me not getting my license, but then never listens when I ask her to take me driving.

 

Well, I really WANT my license now!
