So, just checking - this is where Senate things are going to happen in the near future, right? I'm not missing anything?

 

But that's going on in those groups, so if I'm not a part of that, I am not going to have to do anything for it?

And I heard there were some discussions of Empire and Republic/Alliance "factioning" - are those going on within the Sith/Jedi discussions?

 

No that would be a separate issue all together.

I personally wouldn't allow dual membership. I'm totally against it. I also think this should be up to the jedi and Sith not the senate. now in the old days of the NSO they had jedi and other friends of the order to chime in on the Sithly/Darkside discussions. I personally don't mind that but they may not go in to the thread just to razz.

Too little time spent looking at the groups, and too little time on the boards to have the experience to even provide rational input.

I apologize for not posting last night as I had promised. I became distracted with other things and lost track of the time. But now I am here and I will present you with my chime on the matter at hand.

The measure on the floor is regarding a ruling that this very body instituted several administrations ago. That rule was that no EUCitizen may hold duel membership in the EUCJedi (aka the Guardians of Light) and the EUCSith (aka Dominion of Darkness or New Sith Order). Now the issue has been raised as to whether or not this rule should still be in play.

I, Grand Master of the Jedi, for one (and I can't believe that I'm about to say this) agree with the Dark Lady of the Sith. I would like to state what is written in the EUCJedi's opening post.

Nowhere in any of these guidelines does it say that members of either faction are BANNED from posting in the others thread. As a matter of fact it is encouraged that we coexist.
