You're forgetting the weakness for telepathic attackes, which Corran, via Affect or Control Mind, is very strong at. Plus, there's always pull in ghte sucker off your finger.

I don't believe there is such a weakness(Kyle may have been affected but that's because he's a moron who forgets he has the ring, such as when he got badly burned in an arson fire because he forget to turn on the ring's shields) but even if there is I am also very skilled at Jedi telepathy so I don't think Corran's skills in that area would be a factor. And you'd find that pulling the ring off wouldn't work. It wouldn't come off so easily. Now, if you were fighting Guy Gardner, you could just trick him into taking the ring off like Batman did, but I'm not Guy.

BTW, the "silver age" rings which had the aforementioned yellow weakness were definitely immune to telepathic attacks. I'm just not sure about the new one. And I don't recall seeing any instances of a telepath on Corran's level affecting a GL. Corran is one of the best telepaths in the Star Wars universe but the top level telepaths in comics tend to be on a whole different level of power.
