Why is it that the people joking about torturing newbies, are no where nears "oldbie" status themselves.

I don't consider myself an oldbie, and I've been here a helluva lot longer than BGIF and BF123.

Maybe it's something to do with the Tang lovin' ?

While I haven't spoken with DarthAttorney, I don't think he will disapprove of the thread. I think he'd much rather have one thread for questions than tons of two-post threads.

And, while I've only been here a few months, I don't consider myself a newbie. And besides, I'm not teasing them, I'm protecting them from evil newbie-torturers!

What is the EUC about? Is it an other version of Lit or something?

The EUC is just a community on the boards oriented to the the Expanded Universe, as opposed to the Lit forum, which is centered on the Lit area. So they are similar, but not really the same. Make any sense, or just more confusing?

Kinda like just two different "home bases" here on the boards. The Lit board is a little more refined to just the books and comics, where this one is all about the Expanded Universe in general, and specifically more about the characters, fan clubs, and social forums.

 

i think the main difference between EUC and lit is that in lit you talk about the books... in EUC you talk about characters and other things that are within the books... it also used to be a place to socialize but social threads aren't allowed anymore
