Sixth is so the best pick, but I'll settle for anything outside the top 5.

I don't think it's so much the sixth pick as it is having Tycho as your leader. It think that bastard has led three championship sqauds! Corran has two, I think, and Baron Fel has one. I can't remember who lead the remaining championship team... hell, it was probably Tycho.

You don't want a really low pick either, NYJ. Trust me. It wasn't easy building that sqaud from the 11th pick.

EDIT: Actually, I just remembered that Corran12345's championship team had Wedge as its leader.

 

I think I mentioned him way back in the first couple of drafts in SWC I had Fel and wanted him and his brothers...Corran kind of opposed that idea. as far as I can remember.

I believe Suzuki is banned for up to a month, depending how the admin he's talking to feels about the situation, so we might need a stand-in judge for him.

 

Yeah, Mekot is right... And knowing Suzuki's past with the Administration, I don't think his banning is going to be overturned

In order to avoid flaming everyone here, I will say now that I really dislike the events that have transpired here today. Please, if you could, put me on a list for backups.

(I literally have avoided most of my vacation trying to be online for this and managed to miss this by what, an hour or two? Grr!)

 

I know exactly how you feel. Same as Jello, that happened to me last draft. Missed it by 5 minutes because I had to drop by at the grocery store

I almost missed it again because I was watching ANH

But in the end both Jello and I ended up participating in the last draft

(although I was almost a GM All e_s' fault )

 

Might it be time for the SFD to expand to 16 GMs and take on the Conference system of the JD?

Personally, I'd say no. It does suck big time that some people get left out, but I kinda like the old-school double-elimintaion format with 12 teams.
