The EUC Starfighter Draft - Episode VII: Heir to the Hangar Bay

Like a fat kid trying to get to a pack of Twinkies, you just can't hold the Starfighter Draft back!

The Draft returns once again to pit squabbling GMs and their mismatched teams of pilots against one another in a mighty melee until only team is left standing. Whose it going to be this time? Those who were apart of the last Draft witnessed the return of yours truly to both the role of GM, as well as the winner's Circle. Twice I've stepped down from commissioner and played as a GM, and twice I've come away with the gold. Will I ever try to make it 3 for 3? Not today!!

Before we begin, we have to lay out the rules and all that jazz... For those of you too lazy to go look them up yourselves, here they are:


Rules:

1. VIPs - Colors - Titles: Once again, the winner of the Starfighter Draft will be awarded VIP status and colors for the duration of one week. The Winner is the only person who will get colors, so don't even ask. However, all others involved in the Draft, (GMs, judges, etc.) to put their information in their sig.

***Also, though I mentioned it last time around, I would like to get some people to submit a "SFD Winner" icon. I'd love to have multiple entries so that we can vote for one in the Draft and I can submit that.***

2. One Draft at a Time: It's confusing enough as it is to keep one Draft a float, so we're going to be sticking to the single Starfighter Draft.

3. Leave Your Problems At the Door: If any personal problems or disputes arise in the midst of the Draft, please refrain from playing them out in the thread. Take care of things outside the Draft, and if problems persist, contact either myself, or one of the Mods, and we'll see what can be done.

4. Obey the Forums Rules: Talking and discussions is encouraged, so long as nothing gets too heated. Just follow the normal forum rules, (no flamming/spamming/trolling, etc.) and you should be fine. Please respect everyone else in the game; it'll work out better for everyone.

5. No Replacing the Commissioner!: If I'm going to be out for an extended period of time, then i'll arrange for someone to act as temporary Commissioner until I return. GMs and Judges will not take it onto themselves to find a new Commish to fill in if I happen to be absent.

Alrighty then! Now that we've got all those pesky formalities out of the way, let's start with the sign-ups!

So, we have 3 judging positions and 12 GM positions that are just waiting to be filled! If you would like to be a judge, please PM the Commish FIRST with your interest, and said Commish will announce judges that are picked in the thread HIMSELF. It's best to have judges who are experienced in the Draft, so they know whats going on. So, to all your newbies out there, it is recommended you start as a GM first.

The GMs will be responsible for creating a competitive team of 6 pilots, creating a squadron name, and managing their team for as far as they get in the competitions. The judges will be responsible for deciding the winners once the competitions get underway. I'll be going over the requirements of the GMs and the judges once we get underway, but if you have any questions, check out the previous Draft threads:

So anyone reading the thread about the roster of the fighters at the battle of Yavin. Seems that they have made almost a oomplete roster list and it seems Rookie One and his girlfriend can fit in their as part of blue squadron

 

Please post that here, Talon. That would be most useful for those of us in the SFD to consider.
