The EUC Starfighter Draft - Episode VII: Heir to the Hangar Bay

Back in the good old days of the Roman Empire he was.

 

Like when this Draft first started?

 

If you guys want the next draft to start, then make it happen. It's clear that Corran doesn't have time for the boards these days (probably shouldn't have even been Commishing this last one) and he doesn't own this draft. He may have came up with the idea for this particular draft, but that doesn't make him the sole authority on when or if they start up. He's not the Lord of the Starfighter Draft. Other drafts have gotten along just fine without any sort of input from the people that created them.

Someone here simply has to step up, make sure everything's cool with the modly types and then get it up and running. I'd do it myself, but this draft ceased being interesting and/or entertaining to me quite a while back.

 

I'd be happy to do it, especially since I've just finished Uni for the year, but there are others with more experience out there who would probably be better at it.

 

This draft hasn't changed in the past 3 iterations. If you can use Excel you can do this, I imagine.

 

If no one objects then, I'll try and get it up for the start of next week.

 

Just don't forget that I automatically get a spot in the draft, and first pick! Otherwise, cool.

 

Just remember we have to give the old host a chance to officially withdraw and/or explain his situation. If, after a reasonable time Corran doesn't respond, or he indicates he can't do it, then someone can step up and take over.

 

How long do you think is a reasonable time

 

Inquiries have been made, I'd say reasonable would be about 4 more days. But the exact time is also flexible.

Any input from the other participants? Either in this thread or send one of us mods a PM.

 

I say go for it. I don't see anything wrong. Plus if Corran agrees or isn't around there is no point in letting it die. The Jedi Draft is doing good without Horax, so so should this. Plus we replaced him before and he didn't mind

 

Corran hasn't logged in in a week or posted in over a month. I'd say you're good to go at this stage.
