Well, considering there's a source or two in there that I don't own, it was pretty tough. However, I found the answers, otherwise I wouldn't have sent them.

brief interruption:

But, you'll be different. All of the Comms legends aside, not too many users get banned because they absolutely don't deserve it.

didn't that happen to Jansons_Funny_Twin back in the day? :p

Time's up!

Answers

I. Name an Imperial Customs Inspector of Nar Shaddaa.

Dedro Needalb.

II. By what name was Bria Tharen known as a religious pilgrim on Ylesia?

Pilgrim 921.

III. Why, in her own words, was Ysanne Isard glad that the Super Star Destroyer Lusankya had been destroyed?

"Until you escaped from it, the ship had been pristine, even virginal. Your escape...violated it and soiled it. While I used it to escape Imperial Center, I had little to do with it after that. I couldn't think of it in the same way." Any answer along those lines I took. :p

IV. What device protects an X-wing laser cannon from its occassionally unstable laser bolts?

[Magnetic] Flashback Supressor.

V. What two products make up a good 30% of Plawal's economy?

Vine-coffee and Vine-silk.

Well done - although the answers took longer to get in, everyone who replied still survived. Next set will probably be a bit early, again. I have a "good-bye everyone" party to go to tommorrow night. So you have about 22 hours break. Enjoy it. :p

They were. I just didn't think that my answer for #3 was correct.

What else could it have been? There's two scenes in teh book (the only one featuring Isard post-"death") where she talks about the loss of the Lusy; that's one, and the other is talking about how she lied to Corran and needed it. It's pretty easy to narrow it down.

The ones I wasn't positive on were II and IV. The description of the X-Wing cannon I had was pretty vague, so I assumed it was flashback suppressor. For II, I wasn't sure if there was something more to it than just her number.

EDIT: thread post 1138! :p

Come on, guys. These questions are way too easy.

You know, I'm almost disappointed. If Jello was running this contest, it would be a h-word of a lot more difficult. And I probably already would have kicked the bucket.

From the sounds of it, though, it looks like I'm finally gonna win EUC Trivia. Hoorah!

Answers

I. C-3PO complains about being marooned without three things on Mimban. What are those three things?

"We could find ourselves marooned forever on this empty world, without companionship, without the knowledge tapes, without... without lubricants!"

II. What colour are clouds rich in oxides of Tibanna gas?

"Coppery clouds rich in oxides of Tibanna gas churned outside the viewpanes of what had once been Lando Calrissian's office in Bespin's Cloud City."

The answer I wanted was copper. At this stage of the proceedings, I wanted that specific answer. No one got this one.

III. What was a drug used by the Ssi-ruuk to help attune a human brain to their entechment chairs, and what is it composed of?

Magsol, a solution of magnetic particles. Easy enough.

IV. To which star system did Prince-Admiral Krennel dispatch the Interdictor Binder to as a counter to New Republic supply convoys to Liinade III?

M2934738.

V. What is the slogan of Holowan Laboratories?

"The Friendly Technology People"

Only 3 people sent in answers, and one of them was 1 hour too late (sorry, MarcusP2). Of the other two, TIEPilot051999 had four correct answers. Pellaeon-Firke had three. Therefore, TIEPilot051999 is the winner of this month's EUC Trivia, although, because he didn't get them all right, Pellaeon-Firke will not be banned

8. TIEPilot051999 - THIS MONTH'S WINNER
9. CodeName_Targeter (no answer)
10.
11.
12. Evil_King_Wiggins
13. Pellaeon-Firke - THIS MONTH'S VERY CLOSE RUNNER-UP
14.
15. Thok (no answer)

Well done to the winners and thanks to everyone for playing! You, the participants, are what makes this game tick. The to-ban and to-modify list has been transmitted to Genghis, so people should have bans and VIP/titles very soon. I had a great time hosting, and I hope you all participate next time! :D
