/r/starwarsleaks is just a hybrid version of /r/starwars and /r/starwarsspeculation but with the occasional leak. There is a lot of folks there who downvote logic, common sense and truth, so it does not surprise me that there are still some who believe that.

 

Where is stated that they think Disney supplies the leaks?

 

Can we go back in a time machine and you can back me up on this? I was told those helmets are everywhere in R1.

Disney was going to pretty extraordinary lengths to keep TFA as secret as possible only for Jason to spoil the entire film almost a year before release. I'm sure they love him dearly.

Yes, but consider the following:

Snoke has a small presence on each.
Kylo has a LARGER presence on the hero poster than on the villain one.
Luke has MUCH LARGER presence on the villain poster than the hero one, and in fact, is the largest presence on the entire poster.

 

I think they designed these posters just to mess with fans heads.

 

like any marketing, they are simply concepts with multiple idea trying to be conveyed. I think there is a good chance we get an official poster that is similar to the hero poster but probably altered in numerous ways.

 

With TFA a lot of stuff was on actual paper, thus was easier to leak.

With TLJ (maybe RO also?) most stuff is on locked-down tablet readers.

 

we have talked about the helmets of the clan and how they look like the ones in RO on the forum before. this isn't the first conversation.

that's the kind of thing is was thinking of only it would be more based on alternate realities. seeing things that would have been or "should" have been where rey for some reason has access to both timelines. as for if actual time travel or reality altering would occur, i was thinking of snoke's interference having created a breach that needs to be fixed. if it is, the alternate reality could potentially disappear, like a rubber band snapping back into place. the problem with that though is we can't have the "and it was all a dream" ending because those are lame. so it could be there wouldn't be any time travel.

So far the Last Jedi marketing is following the Rogue One pattern almost exact.

First teaser in April, BTS in July.

For RO the second teaser came out August 11th during the Olympics on NBC.

This year ESPN has their first Monday Night Football game (the first NFL game on a Disney owned station) on August 21st.

They won't make Luke an Antagonist, heck, he's called "Jedi master" on the package of his action figure!

There is a possibility that Luke may have become to powerful in the past, something happened (or multiple things happened) and therefore Luke went to Ahch-to. Not only to seek old Jedi knowledge but also to reflect on himself, he may struggle with himself and what the Jedi are. Maybe that's also why we see him without the saber.
I think at the end of VIII he will be back into the game and believe in himself again.

This struggle will be a powerful message, why? It will show that even a person who never gave up can end up in a situation where he is lost and needs to find his way back. Luke will find his way back and this, seeing this on-screen will deepen his character. Especially people who were never really fond of Luke will see him in a different light. It might be tough for us Luke fans to see that he "failed" but I'm sure RJ will handle it well so that Luke's behavior is understandable. That's why RJ wanted to first answer this question, what the ***** happened to this person who never gave up???
