The event of the year for Russian fans - StarCon 2005!

Hello to all fans of best saga! Everybody knows about Celebration III. It was wonderful event. But many fans could not be there. 1, 2 and 3 July was wonderful days for Russian fans! 1 july has started StarCon 2005!

I'm so depressed here aren't any of this kind of events.
I can only hope for the Europe Fan Force Meeting next summer.

 

In Poland we have no luck with only-SW conventions. But last weekend, for 4 days, we had a big part at the Teleport, fantasy convention in Wroclaw

That's great. Are there many SW fans in Poland?

 

I've been on a Star wars convention in Hungary in 2003. It lasted 3 days and it was fabulous. I met bunch of people I still hear from on the phone of boards such as this. I bought 4 SW T-Shirts, huge Millenium Falcon toy, LEGO Anakin's podracer, LEGO Luke's starfighter... Ah, those were days...

 

Don't forget Star wars self phone mask you also bought...

 

Well.. I have 'only' all Star wars books relised in Poland (almost 90), over half of Comic books, andtwo or three games
We have bad memories from a Polish Star Wars Convention It lastet 3 days, it costs us 60 PLN (about 15 Euro), and there was very interesting "nothing-special" from organizators.
And in Poland I think, there are about two hundred fans active over the internet (daily) up to two thousnads visiting polish star wars sites from time to time, and more 'non-active' over the internet but that's only what I think.

 

It would be nice to have space con in Croatia. Or even comic con.

 

We did have a comic con. Back in November when G.Ferri, the artist of Zagor itself, was in Zagreb. CR? was the name of convention. Unfortunately, I had a very buissy week at school ans I couldn't go.

 

I was on CR?. It was amazing. I actualy met Ferri.

Yeah, i do. Although Dylan Dog is my favourite.

Yes. It is very good, and you can really learn a lot from it. But, as I've said, I prefer Marvel's comics.

Long time not beeing here, uh?

 

Activity here is sporadic, and Russians don't come in much. I think Krivlos is the only Russian here. There is a big Croatian contingent and some Poles, but Russia doesn't have a FanForce.

Questions? Not exactly...I was just a little curious about the Russian Fan Force...When I joined this "brotherhood" (this web forum page) there was only a massive English speaking affluence...
Then started to appear other local fan forces,and started to be a nice Spanish Fan Force...(in fact, I am Spanish)
I personally know a Russian guy who loves Star Wars and Star Trek with all his mind, but he's more Spaniard than Russian , after 11 years living in Barcelona...so I wanted to check how powerful the Force is in the land of the Firebird (don't blame me, historicians call Russia this way...)

 

If I have correctly understood your question, you want to learn, how popular Star Wars in Rassia, and how many SW fans there.

Ehm. In Russia not so many SW fans. In internet there many sites about this saga, many homepages.
