Do you still have the little Corgi Liberator toy? I think I had two back in the day.

No; I didn't see the show until it was syndicated in the U.S., and those sort of toys weren't available over here outside of conventions.

It was pretty tough to find a picture of all of the original Seven, including Zen.

Robotech! Garbage Pail Kids! The Maxell ad! Very nostalgic for this '80's kid. Thanks for the posts & memories.

    Anyone remember these:

I bought a couple of these online recently (the Darth Vader and Bob Fett ESB one in the Top pic, and the ROTJ Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader lightsaber-dueling in the bottom one). They're going to go in the china cupboard where my Coca-Cola stuff is.

I heard that it's not advisable to drink out of them nowadays, because they used lead paint in making them, but that's okay, they're just nice to look at, and I'm not going to drink out of them anyways (I got tons of newer Coca-Cola glasses for that, anyways).

I used to have some of the ones in the top picture - IIRC, they were fast-food exclusives in the early '80's. I don't have any left, since I think they all accidentally broke...

Back about 10 years ago, I remember seeing re-makes of these cups sold @ Target, but they were plastic, not glass - better, IMHO - since they won't break & are safer....

Yeah, some years they tasted like kaopectate, but I miss these.

Has anyone seen Funko's ReAction line of 3 -3/4-inch figures of various '70s and '80s properties? They're styled to be like Kenner's Star Wars figures from back in the day, and they kind of look it! I only have the Alien from Alien (which was made from a prototype for Kenner's planned Alien line), and I was thinking of maybe getting more. They got tons of licenses. and more coming!

I was surprised to see their Karate Kid assortment including two different Daniel LaRussos, Ali, Mr. Miyagi, Johnny, and Kreese.

Other companies have gotten into the retro-style 3-3/4-inch figure game as well, with one company making Six Million Dollar Man figures, and Biff Bang Pow making Flash Gordon 1980 movie figures.

Some guy at the local record had turned in his entire movie soundtrack collection. It was all old scifi stuff and it went for twenty bucks a pop. All I could afford was a Flash Album.
