Everyone I know that uses henna has to order it off line. The only things I can think of are maybe Hot Topics of Spencers in the Mall. They *might* carry it.

heh, I'd probably cringe before using a hot topic or spencers brand of henna....unless I could get just the powder with nothing mixed in...

but I think once I start to run low, I'm going to follow suit and order offline too. I found the brand that I use on this one website. Unfortuantly, it's more expensive on the site than it is at the store I used to buy it from.

Of course, I MAY be able to have my parents buy some with my money and ship it up...
    ...
this would depend on how much shipping on the website is tho, cause I'd be paying shipping either way...

My professor says that there is an indian supermarket in the same building! Like the asian market/sushi place on Weinbach!

    (Mike Blake Voice) HEY GANG!

As a break from my thesis writting, I visted our forums and was pleased to see a few ramblings about Star Wars minis and thought you all could help me out. Starshipmodeler.com is hosting another contest, and I plan on submitting another Star Wars Miniatures Diorama. Question is, what now? The rules for this one is simply--legs. Legs have to be featured somewhere (minis have legs so I'm golden). I did tatooine last time, so maybe Hoth or Endor, or something different. The new Viper Droids scream a Dark Empire 2 dio. But, I dunno...what do you all think or would like to see?
On another note, I see we have new faces, and that is awesome! I look forward to seeing you all as I move back to the Tri-state next month, after I graduate with yet another worthless degree.
    Your Star Wars Chum,
Jammies (the dorky kid with the weird model kits)

Good to hear from you, Yoda_Jammies! Has it been that long since you moved away? It doesn't seem like you should be graduating yet. Boy, time flies when you're making fun of prematurely balding ministers. :) It'll be great to have you back.

Thanks Nathan! I just got back from a meeting of the council. After going through the trials, they have agreed to grant upon me the rank of master, and my name is to be enshrined alongside the greats of their order. While my telekinesis and foresight skills are still a bit wanting, my grammar and BS'menship are without equal.

Now I can just do what I do best: live in my parents' basement and paint small replicas of imaginary space people.

Hey there master yoda...welcome back (of sorts)! Seems like we have all been doing pretty decent. If you've been lurking you know about as much as I do. Of course Nathan (Darth_TKD) is our new president/CR. He has been doing a good job and done some cool customization with the message boards. What have you been up to?

I noticed that you weren't the CR anymore, didn't really know why. Guess I'll have to read some of the threads ;)

I've been working and posting on sw.com. I transferred back to the Henderson Wal-Mart a few months back. Got sick of West Side and all the crap surrounding it. :)

Glad to hear everyone's been doing well.

    Hey.

To anyone out there. Do the meetings at Comic Quest still occur the second Satruday of the Month at 4pm.? I may actually have a life outside of work soon and have time to hang out with some fellow sci-fi fans.

    Anyway, I'm off to work,

    Edric

    ##### Oh, I just saw the little marque down below...my bad. I really must learn not to try to think before my fifth diet mountain dew in the morning#####

Yeah, I missed coming but I've got too much on the old plate and have gotten myself run down a bit.

Sadly, I've got a hard time saying "no" when it involves work!

Anyway, this month might be a problem but hopefully soon.

    See ya,

    Edric

    ^^ This is funny.

Recently, on the TV Show that I work on (Spookaroonies, a Horror Host Show ala Sammy Terry), I wrote a script where the two main characters decide to create a computer dating service.

The computer has a problem and matches up a nerdy girl with a stud and a nerdy guy with a cheerleader.

I played the nerdy guy - no comments, please.

Anyway, I re-enacted the lobster incident so that it is now, forever on film for all to see. My 12-inch action figure of Admiral Ackbar even made a guest appearance.

We are going to show "Teenagers from Outerspace" with this sequence, which has a giant, alien lobster causing problems to the movies young heros.

It was quite a shoot. I also directed a lot of it (faster - more intense and one more time only better are my two favorite pieces of direction!)

    Peace,

    Edric
