Any chance of a thread where people could post pictures of the evolution of characters throughout the entire Saga?

Perhaps focussing on the major players Anakin, Kenobi, Palpatine and the Droids etc initially

 

Were you thinking with captions, or just letting the photos do the talking? It's a good idea.

I really like the string of "piloting" pictures for some reason.

 

HD you have made this thread legendary already.

May I suggest the addition of TESB Vader talking to Sidious alongside the ROTS hologram equivalent.

I think its interesting how, over the course of the Saga, Obi Wans clothes become less light and more brown gets added as if he is becoming more balanced.

Indeed Qui Gons cloak seemed very dark for a Jedi in TPM...

 

I hadn't thought it could be for balance, care to elaborate? Luke's gradually darker clothes are more noticeable, as he grows in power and possibly closer to the dark side.

I guess I view it, intentional or not, as Kenobi becoming less fully light and more balanced. Less orthodox old school Jedi and more independent.

 

That's interesting, you could also say something similar about the ash marks on he and Anakin's clothes after the Mustafar duel.

Isn't there a theory that the patches on Bens ANH cloak are where they had the worst burn marks in ROTS?

With Droids I was talking threepio and r2. I like the idea that by Sith threepio is finally doing what he was originally designed for
With sith apprentices I think it is sort of interesting how they, and grievous, are parts of vaders eventually sith personality
