Promotion is all about the patience. And nowadays, going through the training regimen. Other than that, just be a good poster in the Base and help out in a sensible manner in trouble threads and promotion will come your way.

If you're anything like me, it will do so while you're out of town.

You could join the Security Force or the Training Corps.
