Just letting everyone know that I'll be taking a leave of absence from 25 June to 3 July. I'll be back for active duty after that.

Just droppin in to say high and I've read LOE in the break. I had NO IDEA that ani and obi go on a pub crawl. It was hilarious!

J_Sat: I think the mere thought is enough for some humor, IMO.. but maybe thats just me. Of course, I tend to let my mind wander with 'what if..' scenarios based on part of a book... and the ones that came then were quite hilarious.

I_F: I'm sure Sydney has a bookstore, you can get it there I really do highly recommend LOE, it helps explain the beginning of RotS incredibly well. I just wish it was in movie form, more so than the other books because it would fit so well together.

 

wow...just took a look at the Roster for the potential shake up.

 

Wait yo umean the editing of the squadrons, or the additions of the cadets? I think we could probably fill up a couple squadrons with the cadets, and then change all that around so they're all full squadrons. I just say we keep the original squadrons, like Red, Gold, Black(?) and a couple others.

 

He's talking about a "roster cleanup" like we had about two years ago. We'll be removing the inactive members, which accounts for the majority of people on the roster.

 

Seeing as occasionally people that are supposed to be put in the reserves aren't always put there, it makes it worse

In all seriousness, it probably needs to be cleaned up at least once a year, if not more. At least it also gives people a better idea of how many people are really in the EUDF, instead of gigantic roster with only 2/3 still posting and probably less than 1/3 with even a semblence of activity as far as the EUDF is concerned.

 

I haven't been in charge of the roster for very long.

I just find it rather humorous because I was supposed to be moved to the reserves some time ago (hence the sig, actually..) and yet I'm still on the active roster. *shrug*

Of course, now that I'm back, at least somewhat...

I seem to have a tendency to leave the board for long periods of time before returning
