Manixia nodded with a smile to master Drallig, and lit up her saber. Personally she was happy that these training lightsabers didn't mark what they'd have to use if they were to move on, mainly as she wasn't impressed by the dull blue she kept ending up with, and felt she knew what she wanted for sabers, if she were to be chosen to be a padawan. But enough of thinking. she thought to herself as she held the saber in readiness, closing her eyes and preparing to anticipate each shot. She always felt in synch with her saber, no matter what kind, as soon as she had her eyes shut, and she generally found herself doing quite well that way. In graceful dance-like movements, she began deflecting blasts, anticipating the next one with enough time to react. She knew that if she were to be chosen soon, she would have to prove that she was worth it. Manixia loved how capable she was in form III, and knew that it was the best form for the exercise.

Biography:

Made on Kamino in the cloning tubes where so many of his brethren were made. Alpha-39 was a special make of clone though. After the ?failure? of the Null Advanced Recon Commandos the Kaminoans set to make a more obedient but still individualistic clone. Patterned after Jango Fett and his behaviors but conditioned to be obedient the Alpha ARC Troopers were made. They were deemed a success and were trained more then the normal Clone Trooper. Having been personally trained by Jango Fett in addition to flash-training, Talon and his fellow ARCs were the best of the best, baring perhaps the Clone Commandos.

Talon has served in dozen of campaigns and as an aide to a number of Jedi. Now however with former Supreme Chancellor Palpatine revealed to be a Sith Lord, Talon has an unprecedented future ahead of him life outside of war and even a chance at a real life. The future can wait for now though, its Talon mission to fight the Separatists until they surrender or until they are no longer a threat.

Zeligor: Velega City ? North Hemisphere City - State 71

The world is on fire. Another high pitched shriek pierced the air as yet another artillery blast smashed into a Republic tank, turning it into a roaring inferno. The fire ball enveloped several nearby ranks of clones, burning them all to charred husks and leaving a haphazard slew of blacked corpses and equipment. The penetrating heat seared Darsha?s skin as a blaster bolt barreled its way through his defenses and connected with one of the troops behind him. Agony like claws ripped into his heart as the man screamed and hit the muddy ground in a spasming heap. One of the clones knelt beside him to check his vitals and was also hit. His head exploded, spattering brains and blood on the marred dingy armor of all nearby, including Darsha. How many more will this take? How much more blood will I have to spill? The droids swarmed in like angry wasps gutting the strike force, sparing no one. Rage coursed through the jedi?s body. He let out a roar and leapt over the heads of his frontline. Die! Anger powered him as he landed in the midst of the attacking machines. When he hit, a shock wave slammed through the droids all around him. Dozens were swept aside by his rage induced strength. Dust and grim was sucked into the air by the wave clogging and interfering with the droid sensors. He quickly pegged one of the droid troop carrier tanks and with a howl threw all his force strength into a push. The tank flew up off the ground and flipped, landing on one behind. Both of the tanks exploded taking out another hundred droids. But there were still more. There was always more. Darsha turned and again leaped over the heads of his clones to be met by the strike force commander.

?General Theron, we are getting mauled here. Should we contact naval support for a pickup??
The jedi took several breaths, surveying the scene. Heavily outnumbered and on open ground without cover. Theron turned to the commander.

"No. The transports will be too vulnerable to droid AA missiles. Pull back to the rock out cropping we just passed. There will be enough cover there to hold the droids." General. He just called me general. He thinks of me as the General, not a Jedi. I am no longer a keeper of the peace. I am a maker of war. Darsha hated this war. So much death and destruction. No longer saving lives where possible, but exchanging them, using them like credits to purchase objectives. The blood on my hands should drown me.

A Zeligor Warrior gave out a war cry as he rushed through the frontline clones and came at Darsha with his empty blaster raised like a club ready to bash brains out. Greedy monster. If you people not willing to butcher your neighbors for more land and territory, I would not have to be here watching my men die. You deserve this.
Darsha?s hand flicked to a heavy twisted mass of shrapnel and then drove his fish toward the charging warrior. The metal suddenly rocketed at the Zeligor and impacted him in the chest, killing him instantly and carrying the body back into the droid ranks to cut down a couple more. I hope they can?t identify your body, monster. You deserve to rot under the sun and feed the maggots. Darsha turned to Commander Haze.

"Keep the men together until we reach the ridge. Lorrik and I will help the commandos cover our retreat. Signal the Velega militia to be ready to spring the trap."
Another clone tank exploded shooting fire high into the dust choked air leaving another pile of dead blackened bodies. Darsha?s chest felt like one of those metal monstrosities had personally ripped it open. A super battle droid broke through the lines and began firing at a pair of clones dragging one of their wounded comrades, killing one. When this is over, I will personally find the one who programmed that in these things and kill him, slowly. The Jedi General?s hand flicked again and the empty blaster rife the Zeligor warrior had dropped jumped from the group and flew at the droid an

IC: Lorria Akaron

East Gethga ? South Hemisphere City State 401

I feel so sad for you, for you will be the one to die, Lorria said with a small frown. She remembered all their friendship exhibitions together as youngling, and as she ignited her blue lightsaber in his face, she wished they had been on the same side.
Aze Nash just laughed at her pity, shaking his double bladed lightsaber in her face. Vice frowned, stepping in front of his master with fury in his eyes.

Vice, please, control yourself. Do you want to turn out like that beast? Lorria asked him as she stepped in front of Vice. Suddenly Aze Force pushed her through the air and, she smashed her head on the ground. She slowly stood up, and tossed her lightsaber at Aze. Aze knocked it away and Lorria screamed for Vice.

Jedi Temple

She waved her lightsaber around, silently wishing she had listened more. The rumor was that a Jedi was coming to observe the Younglings. But other rumors were silly, so Yelsh didn?t know what to do. She was relieved that Anakin had discovered the Chancellor?s lies, and knew that they had to be safe.

Vice's eye narrowed as he ignited his Indigo lightsaber. He rushed forward to defend his master, clashing sabers with Aze.
"To fall to the dark side,to think you we're one of us" He said with an iritated tone.

Veu shifted his mask and ingited his sabers. Veu was talented at Form VI dual-saber combat, being able to wield two sabers with more ease then most. The Kaleesh radied himself as a blast came flying at him. He blocked blast after blast as his eyes dartewd from one blast to the next.

The smell of twisted metal, and burnt flesh staind the air around like a heavy blanket refusing to allow anything or anyone to escape it. The sky above them was grey, and dull ironically enough it matched the temperament of the day for war continued to rage on once again through Zeligor. The Force while still very much viable to the senior padawan it contained a hint of murkiness something he had trouble over, and it was hard not to contribute some of the blame to the very war they had been fighting for the better part of three years. Lorrik's training had taken a pro active approach, and it had burned away some of the naviety he held as a youngling in many regards. He found focus with ease now days, and calm was something one required to keep themselve afloat in the twisting hurricane that resembled the current state of the galaxy.

"Trooper get all our wounded back behind our line", the battered padawan instructed in a clear voice his eyes scanned the surrounding area while his blue blade never stop moving intercepting laser bolts, and dispatching droids into spare parts. "Master Theron will keep up the offensive to cover our commandos", Lorrik added as the clone trooper beside him gave a curt nod, and enlisted the help of three others to carry out as instructed.

A blown tank landed less then a stone throw from his left flank, and his eyes caught a jagged piece of metal being hurled with Force aided strength, and speed towards a advancing native who met a untimely fate. Lorrik didn't need to scan around to know who had been the caster of the huge metal scrape for his bond was humming with feelings of aggression. Master Theron was a passionate jedi even for normal standards, and Lorrik never held anything against his master for it was what made his master a great jedi in his eyes. Where Lorrik was calm, and soft spoken his master was determined, and almost stubborn in his effort to carryout his duty. The war had done nothing, but given his master ample oppurtunities to be passionate, and their current assignment on Zelligor was bringing his master's passion to the forefront with ease.

"Force give us strength", Lorrik whispered quickly before launching himself in a Force aided flip bringing him slightly behind master Theron who was in the middle of a nest of droids his green blade moved without pause amongst them. "Master the droids we should drive them towards the right flank giving the commandos a channel to manuver back to our line", Lorrik suggested as he attempted to fill their training bond with calm while his blade did nothing, but bring end to all those who met its path. "Either way we should do something soon before they can regroup, and draw in reinforcements I don't think the clones will hold much longer against a larger scale assualt", the padawan aided before he turned in a quick about face his right leg sweeping out his boot connecting solidly with the chin of another Zelligor native who had come up to the side with a vibrosword in hand.

East Getha- South Hemisphere City State 401

Lorria struggled toward her lightsaber, screaming encouragement to her apprentice. Aze had grown stronger, more adept than she had remembered. As she reached her lightsaber, she Force pulled it to her hand and opened it. Her head ached as she stumbled to her feet. Spinning her lightsaber around, she burned Aze?s robe.

?To fall to the Dark Side, to think you?re one of us,? Vice told him, and Lorria looked at Aze?s face. She growled as she leaped at her, her lightsaber pointed straight ahead. He parried, but this time he picked her up with Force and closed her throat. She didn?t who had trained him, how he could know this.

?I thought we were friends,? she told her through gurgles and the her foot smashed his chin. Lorria frowned as he stood up quickly, avoiding her and going for her apprentice. He wouldn?t get near Vice, she thought, and then she Force pushed him. She calmed her anger, and then a flashback came, of her and Aze laughing and talking. A small tear trickled down her face as she raised her lightsaber for the final blow.

She listened to the Force, silently defending herself. She knew she was very attune to the Force, and she also knew that she probably wouldn?t get chosen. What Jedi would ever choose her. She felt a slight burn on her arm and realized she had let her attention wander.

After that mistake she listened to the Force. She went into Advanced Mode, where she had leap around, twirling her lightsaber. Anakin wouldn?t chose an apprentice who let her attention wander.

Bio: Brought up in traditional Mandalorian fashion, Grosh was brought up to be a soldier. He fought in several small skirmishes around the galaxy, building an affinity for demolitions ordinance and hand-to-hand combat. As his reputation grew, Grosh attracted the attention of Jango Fett, who offered him a lucrative job on Kamino. Once the terms were given to him, Grosh reluctantly accepted the job. As the years progressed Grosh stayed while a lot of the other Mando trainers left. Unsure of how much longer he is going to stay on Kamino himself, Grosh is looking forward to the next job, whatever it might be.

IC: Gorth
Location: Jedi Temple

Master Drallig had called several younglings together, Gorth being one of them. As he issued the instructions and informed them that the droids were set to a much higher difficulty, Gorth focused on the Force. He had been selected when very young, but still be displayed quite a few inherent traits of the Transdoshan species, something he constantly fought with. As the pracice droid came closer to him, he waited until the last possible moment to bring his yellow blade to life. Once the droid fired at him, he pulled his lightsaber out and ignited his blade, deflecting the shot harmlesly to the ceiling. Taking a standard Form V posture, waiting for the droid to fire once again. He only needed to wait a few seconds before the droid fired another volley at him. He jumped high in the air, in a backward arc, landing on the floor on the arena with a softened thud. He had expected the droid to be a few second behind him. Instead the droid had anticipated his move and he was quickly greeted with another round of fire from the droid. Gorth deflected several shots and tumbled toward the droid, flinching to the right just before tumbling left. As soon as he was on his feet, the droid was there with blasters at the ready. Gorth was amazed at how fast the droid could change it's direction. If the CIS had droids as efficient as this, then the galaxy would have been in a lot more turmoil. As Gorth tumbled a few more times, deflecting shots away and back toward the droid, one split second of concentration loss let a shot hit him in the left shoulder. Instantly his arm went numb and Gorth let out a yelp, grimacing from the pain. He couldn't stand in one spot very long, the droid opening fire relentlessly. Gorth did his best to delfect the shots, parrying and jumping, tumbling and weaving. He slowly made his way to the droid, the pain in his arm still there, and the pain turning into slight hints of anger. Off to his right he saw another youngling get hit by a droid. Gorth knew he could not fail, it wasn't an option.

He dove deep into his emotions, pulling everything he had to gain more power in the Force. He felt the calmness it brought and was better able to focus on the droid, almost sensing it's next moves. He was a split second faster than the droid, able to delfect it's shots back at it, driving in closer with his lightsaber. He was within a few meters of the droid when he faked a left step and tubmled to his right. Coming righ up to the droid. He hopped to his feet, using his lightsaber to disarm the droid, watching as the blasters fell to the ground. His Left arm hung there, and he was panting for breath. Gorth wasn't sure about the other younglings, but he very much disliked droids. Especially when they shot at you. Gorth stood by his practice droid, unsure if he should help the other younglings.

OOC: Ummm, 92, there are no training "droids". The training units are remotes, the same ones used by Obi Wan to train Luke on the Millenium Falcon in SW Episode IV. It is a small metallic sphere that fires blasts at its targets. They are force shield guarded so that cannot be destroyed by a lightsaber attack.

Instead your post will state Gorth completed the sequence, the remote hovering in the air, calculating Gorth's results.

OOC: Hello All, I am planning to reply to all of the posts tomorrow night. I am still a little bit sick from the bronchitis so tonight I plan to rest. It's hard to concentrate and post when one feels like junk. Hopefully I will be at full strength tomorrow.

OOCk, once again I seem to have misunderstood, given that the Jedi have used many different types of training units. Was that specifiec in the opening post? I just naturally assumed given the time frame, more of a training driod type would be used, as they were with more advanced students, from what I have read. Sorry.

Master Swordsman Instructor Cin Drallig & Anakin Skywalker

Up in the control booth, behind tinted glass, Anakin Skywalker sat poised to watch the Younglings engage in Master Drallig?s training sequence. As he sat there, his mind drifted, still impressed, yet confused that Mace Windu had commanded him to come to the Temple to accept a youngling as a Padawan learner. If his status among the Jedi was now in question because he violated the attachment code, why would this action be taking place? It would not make sense for Anakin to bond with a learner only to be turned away from the Order. He began to gain confidence that the Order would elect to not only keep him as a knight within the Order, but that additionally there was a chance of him being elected to master, and maybe even the lifting of the attachment ban.

As the student?s sequence began, Anakin Skywalker looked down at the students as they sparred with the remotes. He studied their movements and reached out into the force to see how they were feeling and what they were thinking as they challenged their remotes. He grinned as he watched the blatant showmanship of a few and frowned as he saw a lack of effort and laziness from others. What disturbed him most is that some of them just gave up. As he looked on, he saw the blue twi'lek youngling lose ground on the remote and feel hurt as a result of it. His eyes widened in curiousity, as he admired that she took it seriously that she was missing the mark. He wondered if she could be the one to help him on his mission, then doubted whether he wanted a Padawan that required a good deal of teaching. Yet there was something about her spirit that he was drawn to. He put his hand on his chin and stored this memory in his heart and mind.

An alarm sounded and the exercise was over.

"Alright students, line up. This test is over".

Jedi Master Cin Drallig looked onto the students' progress with a stern expression. Little they did could impress him as he has seen it all, even the dashing movements of a young Anakin Skywalker and long ago those of a youthful Obi Wan Kenobi. Still, knowing that the heart of a child is to please their instructors and seek out encouragement, he clapped his hands and said,

"Good job you all. I have seen much progress today. Some of you have a strong proficiency in this form of exercise. Very good, but don't get overconfident as there are other tests that will heavily challenge you if you build yourself too high. Our confidence needs to come from our faith in the Force. This is what we should credit for our victories and successes. We are but servants of the Force and its will. However, for those of you who feel like today was a failure don't. Meditate on the Force and develop your focus and confidence. You have taken on a test and know that there are areas to learn. Whether, it is to learn better technique or develop more faith in the force, this is an opportunity for greatness".

Just then a blast door opened and Anakin Skywalker walked into the training room.

"Greeting Sir Skywalker", Cin Drallig said in respect.

"Good afternoon Master Drallig". He looked to the Younglings and said, "Hello younglings. As some of you may assume I have been watching each of your movements. I have seen things that impressed me, cautioned me and concerned me. All of you have what it takes to become great Padawans. You just need to focus, keeping your mind on the living Force and its will. It will guide you I know for sure. It has guided me for years", he said confidently.

"Now tell me, each of you, why I should take you as my Padawan", he asked with his arms behind his back, eager to hear their pleas.

Dark Jedi and CIS General Aze
East Getha- South Hemisphere City State 401

?We were friends Lorria. But that was a long time ago. Before the Republic?s inherent evils and corruptions in the Senate led me to serve forces that plan to obliterate it and start over?, he replied as he recovered from her kick to his jaw and repelled her force push with his force relatiation push. Noting that East Getha was almost entirely lost to the advancing Republic forces, Aze had to think quickly as he would surely be destroyed if he sought to continue this fight.

As powerful as he had become in his dark side training, Master Dooku and Asaaj Ventriss did not provide him enough training to destroy Lorria. It appeared they were completely evenly matched. And so, even though Aze knew that his retreat would mean the loss of the droid factory command center of the South Hemisphere, along with the most significant Separatist loss of Zeligor, the Dark Jedi ultimately cared more about his life than his cause.

And so, he pressed a button on his wrist gauntlet and his craft powered up and flew to him. Once within range, noting Lorria distracted by the pleasant memories of their youth, Aze grinned and force jumped into his craft and took off for space. Within seconds he was to his hyperspace ring and was gone, completely away from Zeligor. Six destroyer droids rolled up towards Lorria and Vice and began to open fire on them. Should these droids be defeated, the droid factory command center would be certain to soon fall, igniting the beginning of the end to the planetary war.

Droid Armageddon

The droid offensive pressed the Clone Troopers, Theron and Lorrik beyond their capabilities. Republic ground transports were blasted to ash in an manner too fast to account for. In horror Republic troopers watched as the trap attempted by the Velega militia backfired leading to the disintegration of over fifty valiant soldiers, their burn bodies filling the air with the stench of death. The battle was taking the worst turn possible. It was clear that if total retreat was not issued soon that absolute death would follow for the Republic garrision and their Jedi escorts.

Commander Blaze called out to Padawan Lorrik and Master Theron, ?We are being crushed Master Jedi. We need to evacuate. This is becoming suicide?. Commander Blaze had been serving under Lorrik and Theron on Zeligor for several months now, policing over eighty conflicts on the troubled world. There objective in Velega City was simple: ensure that the loyalist city was not lost to the CIS. Velega City was a major supplier in key minerals used in blaster pistol, rifle and cannon ammunition, thus a major war ally. If the city was lost, the mineral mines would be lost to the CIS as well. It was a critical city to not lose. And it was being lost more and more every passing second.

?Blast it! We need to retreat?, Blaze shouted. With that a green laser cannon blast fired upon him piercing him through the chest, through his armor and out his back in a twenty two inch circle, causing him first to howl, then to launch ten feet back to the ground, and finally lay there dead on contact. A dark dread in the Force could be felt by both Master and Padawan as clone after clone are blasted body parts flying everywhere within the orangish haze as the front line of fifty Super Battle Droids and a dozen Destroyer droids roll towards the Jedi eager to press in for the kill.

?Master Theron, this is Captain Frost. I am leading the rear forces to the west plains. I have momentary clearance. Permission to call in evac transports?, the Clone Trooper said in a firm voice at the back end of the combat, the safest position of Velega City.

Manixia retracted her saber and thanked master Drallig mentally, she felt that the test was a great way for her to have felt her true capabilities in the form of form III. Manixia felt relieved the have finished the test, and was exercising her arm to let all of the knots and cramps flow away. She was surprised to suddenly hear the voice of the esteemed jedi knight, Anakin Skywalker. His presence here basically meant one thing, and Manixia felt that she had one of many chances of the group to become his padawan. His question was a sincere and almost, a test in it's own way, why would each of us be able to go with master Anakin, and become his Padawan learner. Manixia spoke up first, and replied,

"I believe that any of us Padawan would be your best choice due to each of our strengths. But as for me, I am coming of age, and have learned a great deal from Master Drallig, and the thing I'd like most is to show my family back at home, along with Master Drallig, is that I can go as far as I can and become a Jedi Knight, or even a Master." Manixia sighed and continued, "I believe that if I were chosen I would make a great Padawan learner, as there is much I wish to learn, and much I wish to see, and would love nothing more than to do that with one of the most famous Knights in the Jedi Order. Of course, this does not mean that I believe that I'm any better than the rest of my comrades and fellow students."

Manixia finished with a bow and retreated slightly, so as to allow her fellow classmates the chance to state their reasoning. She was amazed slightly that one of them would have the great honour of travelling with Master Skywalker, and she felt that, even if she were not to be chosen, she would still congratulate the student who was. She smiled slightly to herself, wondering what her parents would say if they were to know that she had a chance to be the Padawan of Master Skywalker, and what they would say if she told them that she was, but that was yet to come, and she waited as her classmates stated their points.

"Now tell me, each of you, why I should take you as my Padawan"

Gorth didn't know what to say. He had seen Anakin Skywalker around the temple a few times, and had heard numerous stories of what he had done during the Clone Wars. Never did he imagine that he would have the chance to talk to him. He wasn't too sure what to say that would impress such an important figure. Slowly, Gorth stepped forward, barely looking the imposing figure in the eyes.

"Master Skywalker, I'm not sure about the others, but I can honestly say I'm not sure if I would deserve to have you as my teacher. I am strong willed and have studied long and hard, mostly to counter what most people conceive of me because of my species. I can say, however, that there is nothing I wouldn't do to help a fellow Jedi, especially my Master. I still have much to learn in the ways of the Force, and would consider it one of the most honorable things attained to be under your tutilage. It would be a great privilege, and not one that I would take lightly."

Bowing his head, Gorth stepped back in line.

Tipoca City, Kamino

Grosh stood on a balcony, overlooking the cafateria, fully dressed in his beskar'gam. Grosh watched as the latest division of troops made their way to the chow line. A few of them looked around, joking with their comrades, although very discreetly. It had been several months since the last squad of Commandos had left Tipoca City, and in a strange way Grosh missed them. He hadn't been told if the Republic would need any more commandos, but he would still train his troops to the best of his ability.

He let out a little sigh and decided to go check on the troops that were in the live fire range a few buildings over. As he walked down the white cooridors, Grosh wondered what ever happened Jango Fett. It had been a few years since he had last seen him or Boba. In retrospect, Grosh figured Jango's time was up and he took any money he had to start a new life on Mandalore. There had been a rumor that Jango had been killed in the opening weeks of the war, but Grosh doubted that it would be true.

Grosh finally arrived at the live fire range, looking onto the makeshift battlefield through protective glass. The field layout was more of an urban type environment, made to simulate close quarters combat. Small buildings were erected and the two opposing teams were meeting head-on in what was an alley. The objective was to take and hold the center building for five minutes. He watched as squad 112 layed down suppressing fire for squad 105, trying to gain a foothold in the building. At the same time Squads 189 and 201 were firing back, while having a small group try to flank the opposing team. Grosh smiled.

smart lads, he though to himself.

He selected the frequencies of the different squads, trying to get a sense of what they were planning. Both sides were trying to get into the building, but it seemed that neither were willing to risk going first. Grosh smiled, seeing an opportunity to teach them a lesson in not delaying the inevitible.

He grabbed a flash bang grenade from the shelf in the observation room. He tossed it in his hand one time, laughing to himself. Grosh pulled the pin and counted to three. As soon as he hit three he flung the grenade into the fray. It only took a fraction of a second for the respective squad leaders to realize there was a grenade on the ground. As soon as the grenade exploded, the teams made a break for the building, each trying to use the smoke and grit to their advantage.

Grosh watched as the teams fired at each other, and heard as the shots hit troopers. Although it was painful, Grosh had taught troops to aim for non-vital areas of fellow troopers. It no one any good to lose a brother in excercises. It also made them assess and think much faster, trying to avoid killing a brother before getting shot yourself. Grosh stood back and watched the fighting.

Ten minutes later it was all over. Squads 112 and 105 were the winners, barely. Both sides suffered unacceptable 'casualties', and Grosh made a mental note to talk to them about that. He reached over for the mic.

"Good job troopers," his voice boomed on the range, "Now get your vode off the field and into some bacta tanks. Tomorrow is another day in paradise ladies."

Grosh turned and headed back to his quarters. He was tired and needed a nap.

IC: Yelsh Amisha

Yelsh whirled her lightsaber, slashing out at her droid. She held her anger back, slashing it as if it was a mindless droid, and she was putting it out of its misery. When the thing exploded in a cloud of smoke and fire, Yelsh breathed a sigh of relief. Then she heard the door open, felt the Force weilding person walk in. She looked to him, and was suprised to meet Anakin Skywalker's eyes.

"Good afternoon Master Drallig". He looked to the Younglings and said, "Hello younglings. As some of you may assume I have been watching each of your movements. I have seen things that impressed me, cautioned me and concerned me. All of you have what it takes to become great Padawans. You just need to focus, keeping your mind on the living Force and its will. It will guide you I know for sure. It has guided me for years", he said confidently.
"Now tell me, each of you, why I should take you as my Padawan", he asked with his arms behind his back, eager to hear their pleas.

"Master Skywalker," she said as she stepped ahead, waiting until after Manixia and Gorth made their speech," I believe that you would make the best master. I may not know how to weild the lightsaber correctly, don't know how to not give into my anger sometimes, and I for sure know I am not going to be the most powerful Jedi. On missions, I know I will mess up. I know I might fail, might even die. But I trust in my heart that you would always be there to talk to me, save me. I want to grow older, become a Jedi Knight, Master, maybe even become a Council Member, but I want you to know I will be as loyal as I can be. I trust you, Master Skywalker." Yelsh looked into his face, her jaw jutted out with courage.

IC: Lorria Akaron
She watched the ship leave, her best friend and now enemy flee the scene. She looked over her body, the pain almost too much to bear. She turned her head and stood back up, her lightsaber swinging. She noticed her apprentice was with her, and leapt right on in there, slicing droids.

I wish I had helped Ace, she thought as she swung her lighstaber around and stabbed a droid. It beeped out and she screamed a sizzle lit up her arm. She screamed, beating her arm with her hand. Her lighstaber was buzzing, and dangerously missed her apprentice's head. She put the flames out, ignored the pain, and went on fighting.

OOC: Spycoder6: Remember there were no training "droids". The Younglings trained with small metallic spheres which fired blasts randomly at the Jedi students. For reference consider the scene in Star Wars A New Hope when Obi-Wan is teaching Luke to use the lightsaber aboard the Millenium Falcon.

If you don't have a chance to edit your post we will just omit the portion about mindless droid. Please, please, please read my GM posts very carefully as the details were there. Also, the remotes cannot be destroyed as they are force field guarded. Lightsaber strikes bounce off the remotes.

OOC:Spatz:Keep in mind the rule about all younglings being taken to the temple for training as near babies. She would have no knowledge of her family and pleasing them, trying to get their approval would go against her jedi teaching on detachment. The Jedi are the only family she has and knows.

Audience with Master Cin Drallig and the Younglings
IC: Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker

Ithorian Gurag Joraw, Wolfsman Hurath Krazek, Zabrak Bak-Neo, Mon Cal Goron Maali, Rodian Bovo , and Yan Altis all are introduced one by one by Master Cin Drallig and they share there response leading Anakin to offer them thanks for sharing and direction to try harder, be humble and encouragement that they are on their way to the learning necessary to become Padawan learners.

Anakin looked to Manixia with a concerned raised brow. ?What is her name??. Master Drallig replied, ?This is Manixia?. ?Thank you Master Drallig. Manixia, you should be more concerned about your connection to the living Force than impressing your native race. Besides, you have been here since a baby, why the sudden urge to reconnect with your people. This is alarming. Your mind should always be on the here and now. This could lead to attachment which could untangle your emotions and trap your feelings, which could lead to the dark side?, he said offering a lesson that he failed to follow himself. It was funny that his mind was full of Obi-Wan?s teachings; teaching he would share with these Younglings, teaching he should apply himself.

He smiled to Manixia and said, ?Thank you for your sharing Youngling Manixia?.

?This is Gorth?. Master Cin Drallig said prior to the Trandoshan?s introduction and appraisal of himself.

Anakin respectfully listened as Gorth spoke, encouraged by the Youngling?s humility. He mused, that this one would be perfect for Master Obi-Wan, a real yes-man of a Jedi. As he listened further he felt a connection to the Youngling. He too knew what it was like to be different, to feel the compulsion to overcome the stereotypes of others. Still, one thing that concerned him about Gorth was that he would try to please others instead of being in tune with the Force. He considered his words carefully, then said, ?Gorth, you would make a great Padawan to any Jedi. Your humility, respectfulness and eagerness to learn are impressive; just as your fighting style is rough but well-practiced. My recommendation for you is to not focus on proving people wrong to judge you as a Trandoshan. Instead be in tune with the will of the Force and do its will and the derogatory nature of your species will be automatically overlooked?.

?Thank you for sharing Gorth?, Anakin said with a proud grin, knowing Gorth would someday be a great knight.

Anakin grinned as the blue skinned Twi?lek approached.

?This one is Yelsh Amisha?,Master Drallig said.

?Hello Yelsh?, Anakin said with a grin.

Anakin grinned inwardly as the youngling?s tactic was to flatter him about the great master he would be. Bold and smart, she certainly had some savvy. He recalled that savvy in his former Padawan Ahsoka Tano. But what made the too distinctly different was that he saw a sense of insecurity in Yelsh that would need tutoring. As she shared about not knowing how to use a lightsaber well, he thought to himself, such a lacking is very teachable. Technique can be learned, the willingness to learn and be teachable is mostly innate. He listened and saw her heart to be loyal and a specific dependency to him. He pondered this for a moment, then said, ?Thank you Yelsh. I am confident that your desires are a vision of your future. You will be a great Jedi. No doubt?.

He looked to Veu Hanquar the last Padawan to speak and said, ?Step forward young one, introduce yourself and tell me why you are the Padawan I should select?, Anakin said proudly.

As he awaited the response he focused, calming himself to be in tune with the Force in search of assistance with this decision. His heart was a powerful tool, but often fired astray of his target; something that nearly led him to betray the Order and turn to the dark side. It frightened him to know that he was so close to betraying the Order out of fear of losing Padme. It was a mistake he

Two of the super battle droids fell to Lorria's assault, with the 3rd flaming her with its flamethrower. But she would need to change her strategy as she and her Padawan were far outnumbered and in the center of the heaviest concentration of the Separatists best forces this region had to offer. Even the greatest of Jedi would be destroyed in such an assault. Was her conflict with Aze affecting her ability to lead or was she just absorbed by the moment? Hard to tell. And she had no time to consider such things. This moment was about survival and seizing victory.

The twelve Destroyer droids opened fire on Lorria and Vice spewing out in rampant sprays, liquid lightning blasting towards them, such that could even render most Jedi to oblivion. The blasts were harder than most laser blasts and required much more expertise from the Jedi than that of standard droids or super battle droids. In order for these to be thwarted force pulls, force pushes or getting within the force field then slicing would work. Nothing short of this would do the trick.

Her master's teachings, should she fall back on them would be to create a light force quake by backflipping into the air and projecting a wide range force blast to disorient the destroyer droids long enough for her clone garrison to open fire and wipe them out. Then as she would come to her feet she and Vice would be able to move in and wipe out all of the Super Battle droids, then overtake the factory command center minutes later. But that is only if she relied on those former teachings. At the moment, her attempts were leading her closer and closer to a fatal death.

Vice was blocking every attack that came at him. He turned his head and looked up at his master.

"Master, what are you going to do" He said as he slashed at on of the droid "If this keeps up it will be difficult to make it out alive"

As he spoke, he was shot in one of his arms and fell to the ground.

Veu lifted his mask and looked up at Anakin. He retacted his two sabers and began to speak.
"Well, i think i should be chosen as padawan because i'm reliable. With my skills a dual saber combat, i could keep my own in combat. I might not be the biggest talker, but i think that if i became a jedi i might learn to talk more rather then keeping everything to myself" He said with smile. He hoped that smiling would make him seem more likeable.

She noticed the burning around her, the shrapnel flying around. She remembered her master's teaching, but she didn't know if she should trust it. Her master and her were never best buds. Her master was actually never there for her.

"Master, what are you going to do," She heard Vice say as he slashed at on of the droid, "If this keeps up it will be difficult to make it out alive." She watched him, not noticing the stray blaster bolts tossing her apprentice to the ground. She screamed out, defending herself while crouching down to her apprentice Vice. She heard him cry, whimper. She then remembered the force quake, and she sat.

"This is for you, Vice," she whispered as the Force started flowing through her. She sent it out in waves, disorienting many droids. As they stood, she went to Vice and started trying to heal his arm. Her energy was already drained, and if he didn't hurry, they might die.
