Great pic Vanyoda. I just had to laugh at Tarkin's face. It looks like he is really irritated that Vader made him wear the silly Santa's hat. [face_laugh]

    Nice job!

So you've bought into the lies that Palpy preached that Anakin killed Padme, eh? Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of the wallpaper was set during the Clone Wars and that they were apart due to Ani being at War...*Sigh* Oh well.

    DisneyGal

Great wallpaper! I love how you changed the colors of their clothes!

Ahhh the demise of Watto returns...I think I preferred it for Thanksgiving though.

I thought it was a nice card, PLJ. I assumed it was mid-Clone War timeframe. :)

Oh PLJ, you know I love your work. [:D]

Don't mind me, I am still mad at Anakin for being stupid and turning to the Darkside. But I guess if he didn't then we wouldn't have the most awesome and badest bad guy--Darth Vader.

Wow!! There are some awesome "Christmas cards" in here this month! Kudos to all of you for the imagination and creativity in all of them!

Here's my modest entry--Qui Gon was one of the characters, so I drew a quick portrait of our esteemed Jedi Master. It isn't very detailed, but I think it turned out okay!

    Qui Gon Jinn

And forgive the lack of a Santa hat on him! ;) [face_laugh]

Here's my entry in the "fun" category, since I used my favorite character. Our favorite character doesn't actually have to be in the movies right? If they do, just pretend it's Aayla Secura or something, otherwise it's Daru. ;)

    Enjoy!

Could you please host on imageshack or deviantart or something? You need to sign up, but I really want to see the hi-res version, as the piece looks great.

    Great job DarthZemog!!

[face_laugh] When I looked at your drawing I was wondering about that. I thought, "Is that wampa dead or just really worn out?" ;)

    Fantastic drawing!!

oh thanks so much! I use Adobe Photoshop 7.0. First I did the Naboo scene. I added the snow and berries and stuff. Then I saved that as a jpeg photo and put it as the background for my holiday card. Then I cut out Anakin and Padme and put them on top. I created a layer for each color change. On the new layer I colored over the outfit a solid color then I changed the layer to Darken or Multiply. This way the lines and shadding show through. It really wasn't that hard. Then for her make-up and their skin I created a new layer and used filter- blur-gaussian blur. It is really very simple! :) Hope this helps!

This idea came from a thread in Lit where we decided that Obi-Wan is a rabbi. :p
