DV and I finished out school FanFilm project! We got it on DVD!!!

We got an A for it, and both got A's for our roles in the movie.

Well, if all goes well DV will burn the movie onto another DVD, which I can then lend to Toddi, who will hopefully have space on his website, where he can put the movie for all SAFFers to see!

 

Well done to you both on your grades for the film! I can't wait to see it and get it on the website.

 

There is a certain part of the movie that we emphasise as being our main attraction. You should spot it quite easily, as we replay it 5 times....

 

Hi ya'll.

Seems my comp is going to die, meaning I'll lose all data, including the script (ARGHHHH). I'm hoping someone still has the latest version (version 4??) floating around on their email somewhere. Once I'm back and running again, if someone can send it to me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Also if anyone knows how to get my computer to start up (some Windows problem) and therefore saving me from losing everything I have , I'd GREATLY appreciate it.

Hopefully it is just a software problem rather than a hardware one. Rip out your HD, put it in a USB or FireWire external enclosure and plug it into someone else's machine. Copy your files across, burn to CD/DVD, put HD back in computer and reinstall Windows.

Good luck with whatever course of action you choose. I unfortunately don't have the latest copy of the script, and the copy I do have is 'somewhere' at my old place.

What I was talking about was an external hard disk enclosure with USB (or FireWire) ports. Cost about $40 on ebay. A bit more at shops (eg Officeworks, A&R etc). I don't have one, but might be able to suss one out from someone. Or from work.

OK ... got a camera and cameraman ... got a cast ... only one thing stopping us from starting ... finished costumes.

Once we're good ... away we go. Up to y'all now.

Hmmmmm no idea on the costume for me....

 

<Looks up with mouth full of pins,> Not done, not done, sketches barely done, am house sitting in a place with working scanner, will send sketches soon.

(Also would be nice to have another two months of prep till it gets warm again and won't freeze to death in 'summery' costumes.)

Thats an idea.... I'll see if my dad as any old boots I can steal, and as for a belt.... *scurries off searching for a belt*

Fit's in rather nicely with Callie Remon, a scandal indeed.

 

Hmmm ... interesting! What a good thing to use as a basis for background stories for the fanfilm characters!

 

It's a great resource, so is Wookipeedia, I usually use them for fanfictions, there is so much stuff you never knew or missed about Star Wars floating around.

It says that after the scandal <cough> Tia also had a son, Nial Organa, by marriage to an unknown Alderaan http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Nial_Organa so perhaps if one of the extra children at the beach house is an unnamed character, they can be him. <Just on the cast list.>
