Hey guys. After a couple of week's discussion in the Old Folk's Home, FanForce is embarking on a project to expand on the current FanForce Wookieepedia Article.

So far a few chapters have added descriptions and links to the article, but for completeness and to get the article to standard of the 501st article and the Rebel Legion's we're hoping to add every single chapter of FanForce to the article, divided into country and continent regions. The descriptions and links added so far will be our templates for the project.

What the RSAs need from you now so far is:

    a) CRs to provide a short paragraph about their chapters, as well as any links to their alternative sites to be submitted to either this thread or PM'd to me (as I'm currently overseeing the project). When we get all the paragraphs provided for us, we can add them to the FanForce article.

    b) Anyone with a current Wookieepedia account and experience using it to act as our Editor when we start posting the articles.

To any CRs wondering what they need to write about their chapters, current paragraphs on the Wookiee such as Orange County's:

"The Orange County Star Wars Society is a Star Wars fan club based in Orange County, California. Besides discussing the Trilogy, the group also collects donations for Toys for Tots Charities, as well as the American Cancer Society."

or The Heart of the Alliance FanForce's:

"The Heart of the Alliance FanForce is a group of Star Wars fans who came together around the Kansas City, Missouri area to create a club that focuses on a common love of the Star Wars universe. Members are from all over Kansas and Missouri, but the core membership is located in the Kansas City Metropolitan area, where most events are held. Some main activities include movie viewings, gaming, costuming, and general social activities."

would be ideal, or at least an ideal bare minimum. We will allow you to embellish as little or as much as they want to if you can provide the basic details like those above. We don't want massive detail because we want browsers to be curious and visit here and/or the separate websites some chapters already have.

The aim of this project is to raise the profile for FanForce communities all over the world and attract more members at the very best, and at the very least, we look as good to the casual viewer as the 501st and Rebel Legion do, considering the detail that has gone into their respective articles.

    Any questions?
