I love how he played Dooku and how his Charcter was keen in Mysterious ways. I thought he did an Outstanding job and I see him almost as good as Ian McDiarmid.

I also thought Christopher Lee did very well as Saurman in the Lord of the Rings. Man this guy is an Outstanding Actor.

Here are my favorite quotes from him.

"Master Windu you fight Gaotale. Worthy of the Archive fighting. Now it is Finnished. Surrender and your lives will be Spared."

"We will not be Hostages to be Barded Dooku."

"Then I am Sorry my old freind."

The other would be him Explaing to Obi-wan about The Dark lord of the sith Controlling the Senate.

Heres my Favorite from Lord of the Rings.

"Do you know how the Orcs first came to being?"

    The Urk-hai wonders

"They were Elves once. Taking by the Dark Powers, Tourterd, Mutanted into a terrable from, then Prefected by fighting the Urk-Hai."

    "Whom do you Serve?"

"SAURMAN" The Urk-Hai yells keenly and Clamly.

I think Christopher lee makes a good Villian in Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. What do you guys think?

    Christopher Lee is awesome.

    [image=http://img73.exs.cx/img73/8822/thisisjustthebeginning0hg.jpg]

    "This is just the beginning!"

    [image=http://img195.exs.cx/img195/7841/rohan5vd.jpg]

"A man of Rohan? What is the house of Rohan? But a thatched barn where brigands drink in the reek and have brats roll on the floor with the dogs! Victory at Helm's Deep does not beling to you Theoden, horse master! You are a lessor son, of greater sires."

I have to admit, Saruman lets Lee be more sinister, but that's because Dooku is under the veil of being a gentleman.

BTW, it's "you have fought gallantly." ;)

It's the voice, that's the main thing about him. And he knows how to use it well.

"Brave of you boy. I thought you had learned your lesson."

"Master Yoda. You have interfered with our affairs for the last time."

"You must join me, Obi-Wan, and together we will destroy the Sith."

"Obi-Wan, you disappoint me! Yoda holds you in such high esteem!"

    "Surely you can do better!"

"It may be difficult to secure your release."

"No. This is just the beginning."

"I have good news. War has begun."

Christopher Lee continues to amaze at more than 80 years of age.

Has anyone here seen "The Wicker Man"?

Has anyone here seen "The Wicker Man"?

Yes. It is a creepy film which has a very fervent cult following. As for its director, Robin Hardy, all I can say is that at least "The Wicker Man" is better than "The Fantasist".;)

The film contains one of Lee's most interesting performances, though.

Christopher Lee is one of my favorite actors. His commanding voice helps him to be a superb actor. The LOTR speech from The Two Towers "A new power is rising" is one of his best scenes. I thought he did a great job in AotC and I hope he does well in Revenge of the Sith.

Lee is awesome. 84 years old(I think), over 200 films and still going strong. On top of that, he loves doing fantasy movies!

Do you know what's cool about the line "There are no bounty hunters here that I am aware of, the Geonosians don't trust them"?
It sounds like he's saying "Bununo bounty hunters here..." He he he :)

I can't wait to see Lee again in ROTS! Yes, he is indeed a good villain. I sometimes quote him for fun.

Dooku's interogation of Obi was my favorite scene in the movie. Him trying to convince Obi to join him was evocative of Vader trying to turn Luke. I loved it.

Who would have thought that the Benevolant Spiritual Leader of the Fantastic Ian McDiarmid Gusher's Society would have posted in a rival thread praising a rival actor? ;)

Nevertheless, Lee is still a fantastic actor, I cannot disagree.

I like the way Dooku ignites and readies his lightsaber for action, first against Obi-Wan and then whipping it out against Yoda.

Lee is fantastic, and one of the greatest living actors. I find it amusing how the character of Dooku is highly influenced by Sauromon.

IMO, there are three stupendious actors, who bring acting talent to the prequels:

    McGregor
    McDiarmid
    Lee

Lee's been a favorite of mine for decades. No not Dracula, but as the hero in Hammer's the Devil Rides Out, as Rasputin, as Saruman and Count Dooku who is the only Sith I've ever found myself liking. Fascinating character, excellent acting and cool to see him fencing again!

I was so thrilled when it was announced he was in Star Wars. I cannot wait to see him in Ep III, along with Ewan, he is the brilliance in the prequels.

I had the pleasure of hearing him talk at a con 15 years ago and I'm pleased he's landed a second shot at a successful career at his stately age.

Uh...what? Dooku had an interesting.......curved "lightsaber", but.......did we see the same movie? You must be referring to AOTC: "Special Edition".;)

I'm just glad he and Ian got to team up in Sleepy Hollow...despite the movie sucking horribly.

Just watched Man with the Golden Gun the other week. Lee was pretty good in his 40's-50's. Especially working with Herve Villechaize.
