PT The Fate of Mas Amaeda

In ROTS, Mas Ammeda becomes the only Imperial official who sees Palpatine use Force Lightning in the films. After ROTS, he is never seen again. Now, there was a debate in another topic recently on whether anyone in the Empire knew Palpatine was a Sith.

With that in mind, what do you believe happened to Mas Ammeda after ROTS?
Was he killed for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or did something else happen?

 

I read somewhere ( I think in the visual dictionaries ) that he already knew that he was a Sith.

 

Mas Amedda becomes the Grand Vizer of the Imperial Ruling Council and is in the New EU in Tarkin.

 

He's in the Lando comics as well.

 

I wonder if he'll survive into post RotJ.
