So my topic of my questions really starts with the execution of Order 66, but carries on into the OT time period, and maybe beyond.

    In simple terms:
What became of everything related to the Jedi?

    More specifically:
    1) What became of the Jedi Archives? Given the swiftness of the attack on the Temple, did the Jedi have time to erase the archive. Would they even have thought of doing so?

If Palpatine was successful in capturing the archives, I would imagine that it would give him knowledge enough to track down most of the other Jedi sites around the galaxy.

We know that the Jedi Temple on Coruscant was not the only location dedicated to the Jedi Order. Canon-wise, there are at least two other sites around the galaxy, including Ilum and Lothal. Most likely, there were many, many more.

So what did Palpatine do with them? Would he have desecrated those sites that he could find? Would he have raided them for knowledge? Or merely checked to see if there were Jedi survivors hiding out there and otherwise left those sites alone?

    2) What would the Emperor do with all the relics of the Jedi? All those lightsabers captured. Would he have kept them as trophies or melted them down? What about the holocrons? Utilized or destroyed?

At the end of the Purge and the Dark Times, what is left of the Order that might be salvaged or rebuilt?

There isn't anything in "the Saga" (six films as defined by this forum) that talks about this, really. Maybe the upcoming sequels will deal with it, but for now, it seems like you would get more responses in Literature. So, moving there.

You'll probably get a lot of "Legends" answers there, but whatever IS canon will likely come up too.

The canon story 'The End of History' published in the insider addresses some of this, and features archaeologists/Jedi lore seekers who try to piece together Jedi History from pieces of story, lore, etc, seeing as the rest has been supressed by the Empire and its propaganda. It also looks like the Darth Vader Marvel comic will be featuring a relic hunter as well.
