This from the guy that can't lead his chapter out of a one way street with exit signs. :p

Besides, I'm sitting in 6th and I know nothing about football!

second place in this league after the first weekend, and top of my other league (by a country mile) ain't too bad. i only hope i can keep this going for the rest of the season.

if the mighty villa had held on for the result we deserved against arsenal i would be top here too.

My team needed big change (already), so i've gone and wasted 16 points on transfers!

You know all these guys offering to bit my arse reminds me of the FFUK awards last year, when I won "Male Poster You Would Most Like to Make Sweet Love Too" award. Pretty good you may think, but everyone who voted for me was a guy...

    Oooo-er!!

    :(

Jairen: Perhaps you haven't heard of a little something called "Welshguy's Movie Club"?

It's taking the country by storm. I've been on Richard and Judy and everything!

Mr Welshperson, don't count your chickens until they have hatched. I may just start watching your player's teams and "support" them just so they get the full Tim effect, ask Rambles if you don't believe me :p

My team is a constantly evolving animal Tim, you couldn't even begin to understand the complexities that are involved in picking my starting 11. ;)

21 points clear at the top of the league!

    Taste my wrath!

    I mean feel my wrath....

You know what, actually leave my wrath alone.

The big suprise of the season thus far has been B J's Bashers. After narrowly avoiding relegation last year they now lie in a excellent 3rd place, unsettling many of the big name teams. The extra funds made available due to the recent buy out of the club by the 4th biggest pie maker in Britain must surely have something to do with this upturn in form.

Keep your wrath out of my face :p

I assume you clicked randomnly on the choices then and hoped for the best ;)
Worked for me so far [face_plain]

Well, I seem to be doing ok despite the fact I've not been able to manage my team for 3 games.

    Manage?! What's that? :p

I'm not sure, but I think I've already got more points than I got all season last year. Don't you love it when you pick a completely random team and they do ok lol

Well I've made major transfers I've played my wild card and I've brought in a load of players without losing any points.

I've ended up sacrificing 8 points to bring in some more players. Brought in Bridge from Chelsea (a steal a only 5 million) and some guy called McCulloch from Wigan to replace one of my injured players. Hopefully Gerrard and Ballack'll start motoring soon. Also, for soime reaosn I had Zamora on the bench. God knows why...

Getting Bridge when he'll probably not play much now Cole has moved to Chelsea [face_mischief][face_mischief]

I can't see why Mourinho would drop him, just play him alongside.

I'm going to have to change my keeper I think.

I just don't really want to make any more transfers because I'll lose points.

Theres only room for 1 left back in a team. You need some messed up formation to have 2 left backs!

You could consider Bridge for a midfield role but considering Mourinho seems to be ignoring width in his team I can't see that happening

Bridge is a good player, and deserves a first team place.

If he's going to be a substitute most of the time, I think he should find another team who are likely to play him.

Well he nearly signed for Newcastle but the Cole saga went on for a millennium so he couldn't.

    I did well
Having Giggs as my captain paid off as he scored.
And it seems including Cahill was a good idea.

Parker as captain scored well for me, too. And I had no strikers playing (Zamora tomorrow).
