oh don't be too afraid . . . it's just me, Jada, in a Halloween sock.
I'm not afraid! Really, I'm not!
Sure . . . that's what they all say.
But Halloween is still almost two weeks away...
What does that mean? That we'd better start getting ready now? Or that Jada's still not as scary as she'll get?
Probably a little bit of both.
We went to a little convention yesterday. Got there late but still had some fun. Here are the pictures. And here is one of my pesky Jawa yelling "utinni":
You are crazy...
Scarier and scarier Jada is getting!
This weekend we are participating in two Trunk or Treat events. We had hoped to have our Tusken costumes done in time but we didn't.
Trunk or Treat?
I'll frighten you yet Flo!!!
Hey, usually I call Trunk or Treat the opposite . . . Trick or Trunk but I think that is more Mafia style Halloween
This forum scares me now: there are so many locked threads on the front page, it looks like Comms.
Most of them are advertspammers. You can't help that.
I woke up this morning and couldn't remember if I was supposed to be teaching so I went down to the Y just in case. I wasn't supposed to teach but I stayed and took class.
What kind of class are you teaching and what kind of class did you participate?
I'm teaching and participating in water aerobics.
Although yesterday I walked into the pottery class and this woman had painted a beautiful big fat fluffy cat. It made me want to take the class.
Aww, Now I want to take the pottery class too. But I don't think it's feasible, so I guess I should look for one where I live.
Yeah, um . . . probably a long way to travel.
The cat she made looked just like our cat except it was grey. Although I don't know if they were going to fire it so it may have been black.
The journey would be nearly cross-country for me.
Last night we volunteered at the Y for their Fall Festival. I handed out candy while my sithling and her friend went around having lots of fun. I even sang "Last Dance" by Donna Sommer for karaoke.
But the most amazing moment for me was when my sithling got up there and sang from memory without any music "Go my own way" from High School Musical 2. That took guts! And she did a great job.
I almost sang that.
From which song? Or in your own melody?
Respect by Aretha Franklin
C_W, why don't you see if there are any pottery classes near you?
I'm so busy between painting [still] and sewing I don't have time right now.
What I'd really like to take a class in is Photoshop.
