Not sure what the official policy is on partial seasons. Like, if he didn't spend the majority on the Pels, is it still allowed?

Going to go with DeMarcus Cousins (2016-17), but if that's not kosher, lemme know.

And yeah, it's interesting seeing what teams didn't get picked. Seems to me like the most talent got stranded in Phoenix and Denver, and from a "I got mine, now lol @ everyone else after pick #2" standpoint, it's definitely surprising that the Mavs, T-Wolves and Royals/Kings didn't get selected. No peak-Oscar! Denied!

I think the sim just has separate versions of the player in the same year for each team.

Once @a star war makes the final pick, feel free to do any Free Agency moves. Remember, you have to add from the same franchise from which you drop. I'll also post my 16-man team for the "all ineligible" team, as I put together sixteen picks that couldn't be drafted due to their franchises not being put up (I debated intentionally leaving off all Knickerbockers from that team, too, just to LOL @dp4m , but decided not to(. I'll also do a Random Number Generator to get match-ups for the First Four games. Winners to go to one Group for group play, losers to go to the others. These games won't count towards final standings, so a decent chance to get your lineup tinkering done.

So, for games, we will progress as follows, just so we're all clear:

Random Pairing of teams for a one-game "preseason".
Winners will be assigned to the as-of-yet-unnamed Group A, Losers will be assigned to the as-of-yet-unnamed Group B.
Within your own group, everyone will play a round-robin of 4-game series, in a 1-2-1 format. You will submit your lineups with target minutes at the start of each four-game series, and you will not be permitted to change mid series.
After three rounds, we will have final standings.
Playoffs will be A1 vs. B2 and B1 vs. A2 in a 2-2-1-1-1 format, with lineup changes (including recalls from the G-League) permitted after every game.
Winners advance to the championship. Same 2-2-1-1-1 and lineup changes as above.

Please review the Team Info Spreadsheet for accuracy. If the arena you selected is not available in the sim, I'll pick one that comes closest.

Demonstrating the absurdity of talent left on the board due to the structure of this draft, and knowing even as I think about this that I am leaving a couple of franchises untouched and a few amazing player options on the board, here's my selections for a 16-player squad for the "All-Ineligible To Be Selected" Team:

    Starters:

PG: Oscar Robertson (1961-62) - Cincinnati Royals
SG: Reggie Miller (1993-94) - Indiana Pacers
SF: Kevin Garnett (2003-04) - Minnesota Timberwolves
PF: Artis Gilmore (1971-72) - Kentucky Colonels
C: Patrick Ewing (1992-93) - New York Knicks

    Backups:

    G: Steve Nash (2005-06) - Phoenix Suns
    G: Gary Payton (1996-96) - Seattle Supersonics
    F: Dominique Wilkins (1985-86) - Atlanta Hawks
    F: Vince Carter (2000-01) - Toronto Raptors
    F: Clyde Drexler (1991-82) - Portland Trialblazers
    F: Dirk Nowitzki (2006-07) - Dallas Mavericks
    C: Marc Gasol (2012-13) - Memphis Grizzlies

    G-League:

    G: Isiah Thomas (1989-90) - Detroit Pistons
    F: Larry Johnson (1995-96) - Charlotte Hornets
    F: Alex English (1982-83) - Denver Nuggets
    F: Arthur Becker (1967-69) - Houston Mavericks
