Kind of bummed to be missing out on this.

 

Shouldn't be too tough to find an 8th GM. It's early enough that I wouldn't be opposed to a restart if we get one.

Anyways, Rick Barry - 1974-75. I have a feeling I'm picking the wrong season in the simulator's opinion, but whatever.

8 is tough in this situation, mostly because you can't balance the draft board. In a 12-round draft, once everyone has first pick 8 time, half the GMs get a second first pick on a franchise, the other 4 don't. The "compromise" would be a 16-man roster with 4 picks in the "G-League" or something. Opens the game up to more players, and the opportunity to "throw away" a pick on a player you like but likely won't help you win a game. For example ...

I'm highly amused at someone using their only pick from the Boston Celtics on that version of Shaq. I can only think of two people who would do so - @LloydChristmas and Shaq.

Again, I'm not a dictator, this is your game, I just run it. If we want to go to 16 rounds of drafting and 8 GMs, I'm cool with that.
