It's 3:25 AM in Ethiopia, which is the location you have listed.

Oh, and you have 7 pages of posts in the South Nevada FF board.

I don't know about me being the Sith Masta. Afterall, you've won.....

But yeah, congrats man, hopefully two darkside teams can make it in a row. ;)

Suzuki... any thoughts on your strategy next game. You're not still going for a dark team, are you?

We'll see, Moron. We'll see. But no matter which way I decide to go I have one top pick in mind...

Well, firstly I'd have to congratulate Suzuki on his first ever dark-side win. I'm sure Sith is just oozing in jealousy right now. I probably would have voted the same way in team battles.

Special thanks to my three judges, I think they all did excellent jobs and made solid points throughout the tournament. The only complaint I have is the headaches I got from reading Firke's mark-up-less posts.

I also want to thanks SB for taking the reigns last week.

Also thanks to most GMs who kept it civil in here, I, as well as the moderators (I'm sure) was much more happy with the way this draft ran.

As for the next draft, I am currently discussing it with Strilo as to when he thinks would be best for it to start again. I think he wants set rules as to how long of a gap there should be between drafts. It will probably mae some of you unhappy, but I think we earned it in the fourth 2004 draft.

I am unsure on the length of the break, but Strilo will let me know when he gets around to it, I'm sure. Hopefully we can get this started next week sometime.

As for the commish of next draft, I can tell you that if I decide to GM it will be Janson, as he has been asking me for the last two drafts now. But, I am undecided as to what I am going to do. Basically the only reason I don't want to GM is because I like to see actual competition in these drafts, not just one GM kicking the hell out of the others. Which is surely what would happen if I played.

    Anyways...

Honestly, I don't see why we need a break. A day or two is understandable. And most could live with it, it's just we never have had to wait before, why start now? And I don't see how past instances should reflect on us with a break or not, because it doesn't affect any of that at all.

Well, Sith, let's just say that we need to prove ourselves again.

We've earned the breaks, so we will take them as they come.

Hey, Talon, where do you live? Only so many place you can live in the AST.

Well if there is a break, will you post it in here what was decided on the lenght. Or will it be a surprise like after the break from the fourth (which I might add helped a lot this draft, which only had a few isolated incidents)

I don't see why the breaks are a bad idea. I mean a month or so is contestable, but a week break is no big deal. In fact, seperating the drafts gives them more cred as being serious tournaments. You lose, you go home and wait until your next shot.

Although I guess that's easy for me to say...

Yea, I can live with a week break. Just after seeing one darkside team take it, I wouldnt mind another....

I'd say that a week or so break would be good, and I'd personally prefer to have the next one start no earlier than 11/8, and not much later than 11/15, but I could deal with it.

I wonder what colors Suzuki's gonna pick...

EDIT: And what happened to the All-Star Version idea, with Madine, QGJ2, Gaeri, Corran, Saber, Suzuki, Ghost, and Horax?

Hopefully the All Star Draft went the way of the Dinosaurs, 'cause it would exclude me :( :p.

I wouldn't mind a small break as long as we have an exact date when we'll be starting up again.

I just want a date for the beginning of the next.

Interesting to hear people talk about who to draft next draft already, and I'm wondering if we'll have any fresh blood next draft.
