And so, it comes down to this. A game that began on the tenth of July. With a question sent to Hooper's Heroes, and to their now-dispatched opponent. Hooper's heroes had nothing to say in response to that question, and lost control of the board. And, to think, they were only asked why they'd go to Las Vegas.

Later, that same day, a question about breakfast food was sent to The RICHARDSONS and their now-dispatched opponents. And, while Hooper's had nothing to say to their first question, and little to say since (besides booyah, we won, enjoy our banners for a week), The RICHARDSONS have scarcely shut up since, spamming their thread counts to 583, 714, 761, 999, and 1300+.

We've seen teams come, and we've seen teams go. We've had complaints about Lexus and BWM, about the somethingness of nothingness, about spinach, and about ping pong and downloading music.

But, all of that has lead to this one moment in time.

    Where we ask ourselves:

In response to those taking this survey, how many Americans named Cycling as a sport that is expensive to play.

To be up there, it would need to less popular than golf and hockey as an answer, but more popular than skiing, motor sports, american football, and polo.

Let's take a look at the board.

I'm not going to ask my traditional question of "is it up there".

I'm simply going to ask for a full reveal of the board, and the chips shall fall where they will

    Show us the board, please

I think you should change horsey's forum's banner too, because she got the last question right.

-Oh and give the girl colors too!

    Congrats guys!
Team Richardsons shirts will now be pulled from the market so as to increase their value.

    Preposterous!

    Good job YJCCers!

Time for Team RPF to take our silver, return to our homeland, and prep for our two week long nuclear winter...

    Until next time! [face_pumpkin]

I still think you should make that RPG with only breakfast items as characters.

We must compile the tourney stats and name an MVP and an All-Tourney Team. (And this has nothing with the fact that I went 6-for-6 with 2 number 1 answers. Cross my heart and hope to die, stick a poodle in my eye.)

Thanks everyone! But it sucks not being able to celebrate as a team. :(

So I'll just keep pulling a Beckham until they're able to reach the corner flag as well. :p

I would also like to thank Inty - Tyler, this has been some of the best fun I have had on the boards; hats off to you, my friend for playing such a big part in making it thus. And thanks also for allowing us to never shut up!!

Thanks too to our fans for helping to cheer us along the way - Connie, Onoto and CHRIS.

Thanks to all the teams we played, especially Hooper's who pushed us so hard and so close.

But of course, special thanks to my team: Marky-Mark, Chris with a big E, Steve with a little e, Georgey-boy and the super-sub, The Omega Man! It was an absolute pleasure, my friends.

And, of course, It was the 14 point team ethic that won it.

Wow, it was horseracing, I recall Roper mentioning it once. Personally I thought it was tennis.

RICHARDSONS and you guys even managed to final round without using me :( :p

And a =D= Hooper's Heroes you were the toughest opponents so far and you guys had me worry in the beginning.

Note to self: don't say this during World Cup 2010. :p

I thought tennis, too. I assumed "recreational sports".

So if this is comparable to 1966, who scored the phantom goal?

seeing Integral and Omega in black and white gave it away but awesome nonetheless. would never have realisticly picked horse racing.

again, cheers to Inty and Hooper's and especially to the team. great game, boys! we are truly awesome.

Wow. I don't know what to say.

I don't think I've ever been prouder than I am right now. Even becoming a father pales into comparison.

While undoubtedly a lot of skill is involved in getting this far, there also has to be a lot of luck and we've ridden it well throughout.

A huge thanks to my fellow RICHARDSONS, OBIWAN-JR, Georgey Boy, Big E, little e, and of course Omega for coming off the bench at crucial times.

Well played to all our opponents, especially to Hooper's Heroes for pushing this epic final right down to the last possible answer. We couldn't have had a tighter finish.

I'd also like to make an honourable mention to GIMER who has followed and supported us since we knocked him out in the first round, and to Jag4me who helped our post count ;)

I don't know how the post count phenomenon started, where we felt compelled to improve in each round, but we managed it so I applaud you all. How fitting that it was the final that (with a bit of locky-cheating) finally achieved 1 kiloposts.

There seems to have been a wonderful flow and symmetry to the whole tournament, it's hard to explain. But everything just seemed to fall into place. That, of course, comes down to the true hero, Mr Darth_Integral. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Excellent Work! =D= I knew giving you those respect points would pay off ;)

    Well done everyone!
