Work and money permitting, Fungi.
//raised eyebrows at Gav
Yeah...so now everyone thinks I'm the witch from Hell not allowing you to bring girlies back to our house
CA, that would be good if Wormie could come over. We'd all love to meet her. Just a pity Beer can't come over
I know your reasons Cass - you just don't want the house swamped by Westlife fans
Thank the Maker I havent brought my CD down with me but I dont want them hogging my PC where I;ve downloaded Uptown Girl from Napster...
...um....maybe I shouldnt have told yous that, huh
No you shouldn't! But don't worry, I've downloaded worse - so can I please take some groupies back?
Hey, don't knock Uptown Girl, Gav! I have fond memories of that song!
I remember seeing it all the time on TV when I was at boarding school at about 7 or 8. Ahh, memories...
Hey, this sounds groovy! Any room for some "Star Wars" convention runners there? (we just did the Cheshunt one last weekend!)
Are you that wee black and orange floating dude from Look & Read? (ha! who remembers that, huh?)
Morning Cass, how are you today?
That black and orange thing "Wordy" scared the living daylights out of me! Apparantly I used to go and run and hide under the covers and cry when he came on!
I do that when Craig David comes on the telly.
Wordy Wordsmith...ahhh...Televison for schools
Gremlins scared me when I was but a wee nipper
Don't knock Westlife!!!! I happen to really like them. I have fond memories of the orginial "uptown girl" it was out when I was on holiday in Germany and it always reminds me of that.
I've always hated Uptown Girl...Billy Joel varient and Westlife murdered version the same...
I actually quite like a few Billy Joel records...'New York State of Mind' Innocent Man and that one about Vietnam...
I like a good ballad
I like the one about the river in the middle of the night or something
In the middle of the night
I go walkin' in my sleep
Through the desert of truth
To a river so deep
I must be searchin' for something
Something sacred I lost
But the river is wide
And it's too hard to cross
In the middle of the night...
Yeah that one
River of Dreams...I loved it when it came out!
Je ne dors plus... (The time has come)
Je te desire... (The time has come)
Je suis a toi...
This Night is my fave Billy Joel song.
Was 'River of Dreams' a cover or did he really write that song? I was never really sure about this. ?
I have a tape of Billy Joel's, I can't seem to remember the name of it, but a lot of the songs mentioned are on it. I quite like it.
Fungi slaps Poodu across the face Westlife are lovely
They are a bunch of freakish wazzos...and one has got a huge chin and looks like Frankensteins monster...
Which is the one with the huge chin?
