    My God the options. I know I need position players, but, well, not passing this up:

    Lefty Grove, 1931.

    @cubman987

    Amazing.

    What's crazy is that I assumed Foxx and Henderson would be 1/2 and I wouldn't have picked Eck third... that's how deep the Athletics are...

    PRE-EDIT: Or Grove who B just took!

    i actually had a notion to try to get the third pick and grab grove as well. crazy deep round for this late in the draft. i should get someone decent with the 8th pick.

    I think we could go 8 deep on offense OR pitching this round.

    Amazing.

    One of my first, lasting positive sports memories is Manny taking Eck yard and Eck just going with a jaw dropped "wow"

    Good pick

    I will note that the Cleveland Spiders/Blues is a different franchise from The Naps/Bronchos/Tribe, so those players are not eligible here.

    I've got the schedule created, with each team playing a 3 game series at home vs every other team in this double round-robin format. Take a look at it here. I baked in some "off" and "Travel" days to try to simulate real baseball and put in some additional strategy with pitching rotations. Should be equitable to everyone. We will be playing in the fictional months of Septinty and Intytober, with the World Series set for AmazingB Awareness Month.

    a's and indians were pretty much the last two really deep rounds. i'm having a hard time choosing between one of the thin teams that are left and a couple of the really deep teams that have already been up once for the next round.

    There's at least one more franchise with a few high-end and enough "good enough" players to be worth an entire round's worth of picks. But I've been wondering when (if? at this point) we'd be getting a franchise up a second time.
