The same thing would happen in that game as in a 5 on 5... Jordan would eventually take it over.

All you have to do is look at the 1997 and 1998 Finals. Both duos faced off and Jordan/Pippen won both.

Yup. Although since you're a Rangers fan, I feel the need to in some way discredit you.

    Um...

There were other people playing too.

His speed, leadership qualities on (and off) the court are indispensable. Yeah, defense wasn't a top notch priority in his game (particularly in Phoenix), but has a certain toughness/edge to him.

oh, i get why you took him tunick. i just can't help but think that you could have done better at this point is all. i can think of a few people i'd put above him without even really trying.

I was hoping I could nab Nash, but I was also hoping he dropped back a round or two.

Heh. I'm pretty much clueless at this point. But I was in the myth draft (that never ended) too, and I managed to put together a darn good team there, so there's hope.

Well, hopefully they're not all drafted by the time my next spot comes up.

i doubt all of them will be.:p i was just talking at point guard in general though. expanding beyond that then yea... i can definitely think of more people i'd have taken.

So did I, but wanted to lock a player (that I wanted) before losing him to someone else in the draft (as what happened with West & Robertson).

ah, makes sense. suppose having fun and getting some people you want is more important than winning. especially since this is the first one don't have any clue how this is going to turn out. but we'll definitely be laughing at some of these picks.:p

There's somebody else I want (to be a part of my bench) that better not go before I can pick him.

Yeah, if you wanted Nash on your team, that was probably the spot to snag him. Just personally have at least two point guards still available I'd put over him without thinking about it, and if I did think about it, I'd probably have a few more.

I am absolutely stunned and ecstatic that [link=http://hoopedia.nba.com/index.php?title=John_Stockton]John Stockton[/link] made it all the way to me. I wish Pippen or Barkley would have too, but two time champion and MVP [link=http://hoopedia.nba.com/index.php?title=David_Robinson]David Robinson[/link] more than makes up for it. I'm absolutely pumped about my team

[hl=black]Kings of the 90's[/hl] (Name subject to change)

    C: David Robinson
    PF:
    SF:
    SG: Michael Jordan
    PG: John Stockton

    Bench:

    Spot 1
    Spot 2
    Spot 3
    Spot 4
    Spot 5
    Spot 6

So much for having either a Stockton/Malone or Jordan/Pippen duo now :p

    Barring trades, at least.

All-time assists leader paired with Michael Jordan? I'll take it.

One thing to note is that Stockton and Jordan are the [link=http://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/stl_career.html]top two all time steals leaders[/link]. It's going to be interesting getting the ball down the court against me in the teams game:)

I have decided a name for my team. I'm going to name then the New York Brutananadilewski.

    This is our mascot.
