No way! Aril would smoke Fel, no doubt about it.

    :p

Well, it looks like congrats are in order for Saber. When does the next one start? Is there a two week layoff like the Jedi Draft?

Both the drafts, Jedi and SF, have seen the fall of their top jedi/pilots, Yoda/Wedge. How odd is that?

I dunno, probably has something to do with me. :p Seriously, Wedge was unbeaten and Yoda had one loss before the most recent in each draft--both of which I'm judging--and they were handed 2 losses apiece.

*plays Imperial march with a flourish of horns*

    Congrats, Saber.

And incidently, Wedge vs Fel would make Wedge a victor, still.

I think even if it had gone to teams Saber would still take it and Wedge>Fel.

    Results of Round 6:

    The Finals:

Baron Soontir Fel "Fels" Aril Nunb

Final Results of The First Ever EUC Starfighter Draft - 2004:

    The Finals:

Saber Squadron claims victory over Kenobi's Talons 4-2

Granted, most of us knew this was going to happen about 2 months ago, but Saber is now officially the Champion. Congratulation on becoming only the third "Dual-Draft Champion" in the history of the Drafts. Maybe this will teach people not to let their only be one Imperial squad in the Draft.

Congrats also to Talon_Kenobi who put a valiant effort in trying to pull such a huge upset. In a battle where defeat was almost inevitable, you still fought hard, which is quite impressive. Excellent job.

Finally, I'd like to thank all the GMs and judges for their time, and sometimes their patience, in making this Draft a welcome addition to the EUC. Hopefully this game will continue to grow in popularity and bring even more people into the folds of the Drafts.

So with that, I bring The First Ever EUC Starfighter Draft - 2004 to a close. It's been a real blast and I hope to see you all back here next time. There will be a brief intermission between now and the next game, but it won't necessarily be the 2 weeks that the Jedi Draft goes through each time. Stay tuned to the boards, and join in when the time comes. I'll leave you all with one last...

    Let's Get it On!!

Well, it's been fun judging over a relatively easier and less stressful draft. The Jedi Draft can be more fun, but I much prefer the looseness in here, and I hope to be a part of the next one, possibly challenging SL from a GM spot.

I'd like to offer SL congrats again, as well as congratulating TK on second place, plus all the other GMs, especially Jaina, who came in 4th with a team that looked weak at the beginning but did the best of all first timers.

    You'd be wrong, then. ;)

Fel was superior to Antilles in the X-wing comics.

His second, Phennir, gave Antilles trouble.

A mere duplicate and ACTOR nearly outflew Antilles.

Antilles is clearly inferior to the Baron in every way.

In the last drafts, the winner and runner up were guarnteed spots, is it the same in this draft? Or do I have to keep watching

Jello, that's not entirely fair. Phennir was flying a vastly superior craft in SoA, and Wedge wasn't trying to vape Cowell, just knock him out of the fight,(iirc) which made the fighting that much more difficult.

I can't comment on the comics, because I've never read the ones with Fel in them.

Actually, didn't the actor have some help from a computer?

    And congrats SL!

I'm already impaitent for the next draft, hopefully I can do better this time. :)
