congratulations master burd. you've scored a fine victory. i look forward to going up against you in the next draft. for then, i shall have the wisdom that comes upon one after experience.

So, how long of a break are we going to have? When's the next draft start?

 

2 weeks, so March 14th.

 

If anyone knows hoboken, we do st. pattys day 2 weeks early, because its, SO much fun, which is this saturday... the best day of the year around here. see u all in a couple days

Why is there a break?

And Its on and popping for me next draft.

 

There's a break so that a) more newbies can join and b) people don't kill each other over some of the stuff that happened previous draft.

At least, that's my understanding.

 

i dont think there is a need for a breadk to do that.If you put it on the board new people will sign up it always happens.I hope it doesnt have to be that long.

I dont think changing the wait time is going to happen... We're just going to have to wait until March 14th for Horax to start the next one up

i didnt know that the mods took that much control in the game.Its seems horry is just its creator now.

 

Well we wanted to make it an official game of the forum...I believe at first the wait was going to be a month...I could be wrong on that, but we settled on two weeks


The winner of the Draft gets VIPship for a week and GMs who are eliminated are banned for 24 hours...


I think a little break is fine, but you are correct in that the Mods have more power now.... The former Mods used to let what happened happen


There are trade offs to each situation, and I'm not complaining about it

i dont think the mods should have that power.the wait thing i dont care about.But i havent seen any worthy thing that a mod was needed for.The commish basically just rolls the dice and isnt really the commish any more.it can still be offical with out Mod control i feel.

Hey everybody.

For those who don't know, this is Horax's sock (one of a few).

I will be returning as Commissioner for the next draft, as well as a judges seat.
Corran may judge as well, and the third judge has yet to be decided, but will more than likely be appointed.

Even though there are always questionable decisions, this is always a fun game, and I"m proud to have been the creator of such a thing that brings us all together to kick the crap out of each other in a lighthearted and fun scenario.

Congratulations to my homeboy, BBurd...who really hasn't proven anything to me other than the fact that he's a weird person.

Thanks to Strilo for his moderation when it was needed, and to all GM's who continue to make this a great game.

We will return on March 14 for the next installment of the Jedi Draft.
