:) Anyways, we were all standing in line waiting for Carry to sign our books. When all of a sudden, George Lucas walks right into the room. :) I was shocked and screamed out "Oh my god!" He immedeately looked at me and stared at me for 3 seconds. I think he was probably thinking "Oh screw this" Then he turned around and left the room. Then we told Dan, and he chased after him and shook his hand. It was amazing. Afterward, he picked up Carry Fisher in his green Mercedes Benz. :)

This "sort of" makes up for not getting to host his son's birthday party at Metreon last February [face_frustrated] =P~...

Everyone thought that maybe Carrie's father, Eddie Fisher would show up, but instead what a most pleasant and fortunate suprize.

**My bro did get Carrie to sign her "Vanity Fair" cover as well, too bad we could not get a complete double whammy with the master himself.

I'm happy that everyone got to see/meet Lord Lucas himself. Sorry I didn't make it but I had a pressing issue. Too bad... Anyway, did ANYONE happen to have enough synapes firing in their brains to ask about the Coronet??? Or was there just a lot of drooling and fan boy/girl ism?

That's awesome you guys!!! I'm jealous.
Lord Lucas was down here in LA a couple of years ago at the Egyptian Theatre.. I wasn't able to meet him then. But I did get to meet him and get his autograph when he drove in the Pro-Celebrity race at the Long Beach Grand Prix in 2000. That was cool. I usually don't get star-struck when I see celebrities.. but I was speechless when I met Mr. Lucas.

    D'oh!
I knew I should have tried to ask a fast question.

Oh well! Funny thing. I almost decided not to go.
I guess the Force was with me.

I was surprised to meet "The Maker" again. I thought Erick and Matt were playing some Jedi mind trick on me.

    END TRANSMISSION

Oh no, Dan. No Jedi mind tricks when it comes to Master George. ;) BTW, why didn't you believe us? Anyway, for those that still doubted that we saw both Carrie and George, I saw the Tavis Smiley Show on PBS late last night, and Carrie said that she DID see George recently in SF; and in the paper today, it says that they were spotted together at the Fog City Diner. That's probaly where they went after we went chasing after his car like rabid dogs, uh nerds! :-B

    Yeah, back in 1995, a long time...whoops.
That is when LFL has the best exhibit at Yuena Buena.

That is 1st time when I met the infamous brothers.

I feel a presence I have not felt since....

Wow! Ten years. Speaking of which, Dan, do you have any pics from that exhibition? If so, could you bring them to the meeting?

I remember when I ran into George Lucas. It was when I was still a student at Cal, and during a USC football game, someone told me George Lucas was there. I decided to go into the USC fan area and scour the entire area to look for the creator. The all of a sudden I spotted him. Sitting down, talking to the USC athletic director. I waited for about 45 minutes, unsure what I should or could do. I decide to move in, and a woman sitting in front of him turned to me (who was part of his security) looked at me and said "NO, go away he doesn't need fans right now." I was so upset. But I begrudgingly respected it. He glanced by me going to get food and we met eye contact and I think at that moment was the greatest moment of his life.
