JCC The Flu Sucks!

I've never had a case of the flu that was so severe. My whole body aches so much.

 

No Tamiflu, but someone is bringing me some medicine over.

 

We're all gonna die....

 

With the medication I'm on I'm forbidden from getting a flu shot and the medication turns off my immune system. I feel this may be bad for me.

 

You can thank the early cold snap and in no small way to the anti - vax crowd (not those, like GenAntilles and anakinfansince1983 who can't medically get a flu shot, I mean those who think that it in some way causes autism and/or other disorders) for the possiblity of a very very bad flu season. I had a very bad cold around election day and I'm glad I had already gotten my flu shot so that my cold didn't end up turning into something like the flu. I am nervous as I didn't get a pneumonia vaccine and that's supposedly has been bad this year too.

i wish i had a grun so that if i get the sooperfloo i can just shoot it with the grun.

 

Do Robocops get the flu AAAAAH? I'm very old and don't remember the movie all that well.

 

no, i do not believe so. it has not happened once in the entire history of the robocops.

 

When it gets big enough to see with the naked eye you got problems.

 

i already have problems so it would be just one more problem added to the list of problems. and i would get a very small grun that can shoot very small things. it would not even get a chance to grow big enough for the naked eyes.

 

When I get the flu I pray to Jeezus and I done pray it all out and put it in a jar.

I had swine flu back wihe it was in the vogue and the sumtpoms lasted for only 8 hours but i got to miss school for like 3 days which was sweet

 

I had a dorm mate a few years back who got Swine Flu. The school quarantined him in a hotel room for a week and a half. He just slept, watched tv, played video games. He said it was the best time. When he got back everyone tried getting it.

 

Yeah, Swine Flu was surprisingly underwhelming if you had proper medical care. Though the symptoms, when I had them, did suck. My eyes positively burned, and I had to read the last hundred pages of Dracula for my AP lit class ( I hate the last few chapters of Dracula, they change the flow of the book entirely).

 

Friend of mine in the US had it after visiting family in Ohio for Christmas. He felt it coming on as he drove back to CT. For awhile there he was dividing his time between bed and the bathroom (not vomiting - the other end). He's feeling better now but he had it bad. And yes, he'd had a flu shot.
