To elaborate on Kylo Ren being a scrub, I think the Force push in the second trailer is just him pretending to Force push.

 

What if Ren has the same modifications the twins from the Darth Vader comic have? Tech-based Force powers?

Currently Kylo doesn't give me an "Oh no, what evilry is he planning for the galaxy?" vibe, more an "Oh no, how is he going to mess up?" vibe. Like Kyp did. Edit: Like so many KJA/Veitch villains did.

When he actually is a Sheevian mastermind and super duelist in the movie I'm going to dislike it for ruining my fan-canon.

 

I think he's going to be a happy medium between Darth Vader and Darth Maul. An attack dog like Maul, but a more menacing, commanding person like Vader. While also being a Vader wannabe. But judging by the way he moves in teasers, I think he's going to be a lot more primal and rage-filled in his fighting style. Wild, untamed swings. That kind of thing.

 

So to sum up. A wild wolf pup. He behaves with rage, commands with an iron fist but when his master comes a calling he goes a running.

But see, that's the thing. We don't know what he'll be. We haven't seen his face in any actual footage, only from the one production still, and we haven't heard him talk, either. We haven't heard anything like that from anyone, not Phasma, not Hux, not Rey or Finn or anyone. The only character we've seen actually talk on screen so far is Han. We don't know what any of their personalities will be aside from the conjecture we've put together from the little footage we've seen and the words of those who play them.

One of the few things Driver said at Comic-Con is that for Kylo, it isn't about who's right and wrong, necessarily.

To him, maybe the First Order his what the fledgling Rebel Alliance was to Luke, a group he heard about and then joined and, due to his affinity for the Force, became their poster child and one of their most effective warriors. Maybe he considers himself a hero, following in the footsteps of Darth Vader to bring order and justice back to the galaxy, even if it means doing things others consider morally objectionable. He's raw, he's untrained and completely self-made, which almost makes him more dangerous because he can't be predicted or put into a box with other darksiders.

 

Yeah, that's true. I'm just saying his body language in the trailer indicates a wild, savage person.

 

Occasionally I like to go back and read the first page of this thread for entertainment.
