That's what I was getting at with my comment in the other thread: yeah, maybe Sarco Plank is Max von Sydow's character, an elderly cyborg former member of the Knights of Ren or whatever, and that dude from Weapon of a Jedi's back cover is him in his younger days, or something equally spoileriffic. But it's equally possible that he's just a random background alien (that helmet does look more "non-oxygen-breather" than "cyborg" to me) and the Weapon of a Jedi villain is just another member of his species.

I'm really digging his mask design. Once over the initial "hey it's Revan!" reaction, it really is a nice mask.

 

Agreed I just wish the chin to nose had a bit of a design on it

 

I'm curious to what extent it's going to modify his voice. I hope he's being dubbed by Peter Cullen.

Ir's cool to finally hear Kylo and Phasma's voices! The Finn one doesn't seem to work for me though.

Kyle just really doesn't work for me. I like Driver, but his character sounds like an over-serious suburban white kid earnestly doing a Bane impression because he thinks it makes him sound tough. So pretty much what we'd figured about him.
This seems to confirm the rumors that Captain Phasma is a droid. A little disappointing that we won't have GC acting unmasked, but more interesting than what I'd assumed for the character.
It makes the name worse though - plenty of people are just born with silly surnames, but someone actually had to think 'Captain Phasma' was a reasonable name for their droid. Probably Kyle.
Finn I'm alright with - just weird hearing Boyega with an American accent. He's the only one who's lines have any real feeling or pathos behind them (fine for the droid, worrying for the villain).

I'm not hearing droid in Phasma's lines. I'm hearing a cold stoic monster.

If she is a droid, I'll be pretty disappointed.
