ST The Force Awakens - What Would Make it SUCK! Review Possibilities

Hi all. New Member, first time poster.

The other day my bro and I put together a fun short video about the new upcoming star wars movie and the 16 funny possibilities of how Disney could screw it up.



What if's........

Jar Jar is alive (Gungans can live 700 years) and he becomes a jedi!

Stormstroppers have new helmets, mickey mouse ears!

Ect, Ect........

What are other ways Disney could screw this up?..........

 

Vast departure from the narrative of the existing saga.

And fart jokes.

 

Bad acting. Poor delivery of dialogue.


References to Han Solo catheter... but seriously. Joking about the age of the old cast more than maybe 2 total times. If it turns into so recurring joke theme (Like the language thing with Captain America in age of ultron) it would be highly annoying and would cause me to like the movie less as a whole.

 

There's a variety of things, but I'm not going to put those out there until after I see the film. As long as I have fun in the Star Wars universe, I don't care.

 

The stories of JJ's Star Trek movies seemed a bit rushed. If TFA is rushed, that could suck. Otherwise, I doubt it. I think the movie will be suck proof.

I think the special effects and action are going to be so incredible that will make it suck proof. But there are many reasons the movie will "disappoint". And personally I think the plot as we know it, leaves quite a bit of room for that particularly the whole Bespin saber storyline. I can easily see that coming off as cheesy and pandering.

It would suck if Ray is good at everything and Finn is a joke.

 

Didn't you know? Guys suck at things now and need girls to save them, just like in Spectre (thanks producers - I really want to root for a James Bond who can't fend for himself!).

Listening to some nerd in front of me babble about Snoke being Darth Plaqueis even after it is a fact he is clearly not.

So what you're asking is, "What would make this movie bad"?

Well, in my opinion, the villains must be strong. They have to put on a good performance for me to buy into. From the rumors I hear...it sounds like the movie will be a little over 2 hours which should be enough to time tell a story without it being rushed.

 

That wasn't the narrative of the movie at all. It was a very typical Bond movie. Much more then Skyfall I would say.

I'm seeing it on the 19th in London with my family. I think the US premier is the 14th so I might have to avoid a few websites for a few days but I'm pretty happy with the 19th

 

We get it the 18th unless u mean review screenings.

 

Ah I guess I did. I watch Collider movie talk and jedi council and I know the hosts are going to the premier on the 14th but I don't know when they plan to release a discussion/review of it. Normally I'm pretty good at avoiding big spoilers so it shouldn't be a problem either way.
