She shifted to the left, without making a sound. She just had to make sure her bones and muscles did not grow cold out here. It was a waiting game. She had expected almost anything, but not a waiting game. She would have loved to "listen" to the two men talking, but she could not allow to divide her attention to reach out down there. The Jedi might have felt her, too. No she watched their lips move, their faces showing meaningful thoughts and great responsibility. Like the players of dejaarik the two danced around the main point and then they arrived. What they talked about she did not know. But it was not surprising her target was one of the two. They had meaning. something in the way they carried themselves just betrayed that little truth about them. These two men had meaning.

Her hand touched the cold steal of her lightsaber and she felt drops against her pale skin. Please, no rain. She could handle the slippery. But it would get even colder and despite that . . . it was such a damned clichée.

Saya nodded and turned her back on the HRD. “No, if I stay here your chances will be better. The longer I stay with you, the greater the danger of failure will be.” She said it with the cold tone of an analyst, not as if she was talking about her own death. “May the force be with you, Callista. You´ll need it.” And with these words the blind woman stepped into the darkness of the sewers.

The Fallen One did stop, but not because he reached her in her hateful agony, but because hse could not end her attack she wanted to end so badly. She looked at Erian and hissed out air, her eye glowing with a sickly yellow. And then she laughed. For a moment she seemed to cool down and then she laughed, looking down at the lightblade over her stomach. “there is no chaos, there is harmony?” She laughed louder. “Really?” Her body was shaking and in the force he felt that the amusement was genuine. “Where? Where is harmony? Stop quoting ancient codes, but look at the galaxy you and the Sith have created and tell me WHERE? WHERE is harmony left, hm?” She allowed her muscles to relax, but kept on laughing. “Not even in you, is there?” Her eyes pierced him from the dark. “I sense the chaos in you, so tiny, hidden between the doubt. But it´s spreading, is it? Always, always spreading. I know. I know.” Her lightsaber shut down. “So is mine.” Her voice was only a hiss in the shadows now.

He leaned back and looked at the RPime Minister for a long moment. "Fend them off? No, I don´t want you to misunderstand me. I cannot do that. I am no warrior, no strategist. I am a scientist. A scientist first and a Jedi second. And what I can do is give you the weapon with which you can . . ." Leele forced himself into a suffering smile. Then he said the words. He knew they were true. " . . . earase them from the galaxy. The Sith, too. All of them. I speak about . . . " Leele looked atthe Prime Minister once more and then closed his eyes and nodded. "Equality." He said finally and opened his eyes. "All living things in the galaxy will be qeuqal, no force, no power to bend the people to their will. Freedom, freedom from the slavery of fate and destiny. freedom from the force, the Jedi and Sith. Absolute freedom."

Leele stood up. "If you hide my base and never tell anybody a thing about me or where I am at, I will give you one day the power to give the galaxy that freedom. To save your people, to end this war. What you will do with it then, will be up to you, Prime Minister."

Callista watched in silence as the Jedi turned and walked away. She couldn’t say she was ever a fan of the Jedi, save one or two examples she could give names two, but watching Saya walk away wounded the HRD in some manner. “May it be with you too…” She took a deep breath and turned back to the kids and their smuggler Escorts. The last of them were approaching the tunnel entrance and she moved to follow.

She jogged up beside the trailing smuggler as they waved the last of the kids through the entrance. “So,” She looked up at where the entrance had been made out of the sewer wall. “We going to close this or leave a large ‘they went this way and we can follow them’ sign for the Jedi? And before you ask about my friend, she’s going to buy us time, probably the last thing she’ll buy.” She ran a hand along the edge of the tunnel wall. “I can collapse this once we’re through if that’s the plan.”

The Jedi Inquisitor stepped back but kept his emerald blade ignited and ready to strike her down. He should have felt affronted at her amusement but he didn't. "Harmony, balance," he began, "is something that cannot be found but created." He pointed his weapon at her. "You seek Saya to kill her, but why? Your hatred has unbalanced you, brought you out of harmony with the Force, to the point that you would kill me, a fellow Jedi, just to get to her. This war continues because of Jedi and Sith like you."

And himself, but he wasn't about to admit that in front of this Fallen.

"We all have doubts and it is those doubts that keep us in balance elsewise we slip and fall into the black abyss." Erian lowered his weapon. "So ask yourself, is allowing your hatred to consume you and killing Saya worth your soul? Worth becoming a Sith?" He wasn't sure why he was trying to talk this fallen Jedi down and to give up in her crusade for vengeance. He only knew that the Force was prodding him in this direction, but whether it was for her or his benefit, he wasn't sure.

Nesron, Eastern and middle battle line

Hir ran, as the mounts pushed on they traveled westward through the line and hesitated only in the occassional kill or melting of a Jedi as they pushed their way westward. A terrifying sight to see is a pack as it feeds and travels, decending on a body and tearing it to shred and then using one fore-leg to eat it as they continue, spewing acid at enemy bodies, pausing to strangle and Imbued, whipping a Padawan seperated in the ranks, and grabing new chunks to feast on as they traveled. Whether stauncher resistance would be met as they advanced the Eastern lines terror to the west they did not know, but the pack was ready, hir was ready.

As he rended an leg from a fresh corpse he wondered how hard hir would have to fight to reach the feast? Such things were trivial though, hir father had promised and would deliver. Until then they would feed off the enemy in passing to keep their strengths up, and feed off the enemy behinds fear and terror.

They were loosing the battle still, but what did the force show her? Where did it guide her? To two young Jedi.

A Jedi did not doubt the force, not even a Chosen One. The young Jedi would die. So she had to ave them. At what cost? The battle? The planet? It did not matter. Sacrifice was the way of the Jedi when it was demanded. Her green blade rotated around her body a few times and then she leaped forward. This time surprising the Sith hordes by the sudden change of direction towards the west flank. If she just came close enough to jump . . .

And then she saw it. The Sith they were spreading thinner. their charge had both Atlas and the front hard, but there had not passed so many Sith the Atlas group to secure full strength . . .

"Longstar!" She shouted over the battle and through the force . . . she could still turn the battle. She could still turn the battle, save the two youngsters and defeat the Sith when they met again. She just had to be fast now. "Half your forces into the Sith back!" She yelled and pointed into the back of the Sith attack on the eastern line. If they acted now, they would capture the thinning ranks of the Sith between the fully numbered second line and their own troops in their back. The second half of Atlas would hold back the Sith coming into battle now and . . . they would destroy the first wave comepletly.

"Go!" She yelled and stabbed another Imbued into the stomach and pushed him aside.

There was still time to win this battle, to win this planet, this war and then nobody would doubt shealone - the heir of Skywalker- was the Chosen One!

    Serith Hayon
    Coronet, Jewel's Sanctuary hotel

Serith eyed the holonews projection intently. He knew that "Cilarn" was out there somewhere, but his tracks were covered well, and in a place like Coronet there were many places to hide. Though when there were people in need of aid, the Jedi were always the first on the scene. This was what Serith was betting on, even more so now that the cure was said to lie with the force-wielders. Of course this Jedi could've been an exception, it may have been that he was even willing to ignore the pleas of assistance from those that were sick, purely to preserve himself. Serith thought however, from the description of "Cilarn" making him out to be some sort of pacifist, he would find any opportunity to do a good deed.

He flicked the holonews projector off, scratching his head. A new day had arrived and with it a new piece of information, whether or not it was relevant was yet to be determined. Though for some reason, he had a good feeling about this. His understanding of Corellia in general was lacking, and it was only by luck that he knew some of the things he did about Coronet. The underground system, which he knew was referred to as the "Selonian Tunnels", was the apparent location of this fairly concealed medical operation. He had no clue as to how he was going to get there, though.

As he left the hotel room and passed through the reception to leave the fancy Jewel's Sanctuary hotel, he had an idea. He beckoned to the receptionist as he approached the desk, this time it was a bored looking middle-aged man with a uniform hat. He looked a little like the Bespin Wing Guards Serith had seen in holobooks.

“Ahem, yes what is it?” the man lifted his head from behind the desk. His accent was not unlike Serith's own Coruscanti accent, very formal but often sounding too serious.

“I am wondering if you can link me to somebody who would offer a guided tour of Coronet, or rather, the parts that reside beneath it?”

Masaya did step further back and allowed her lightsaber to deactivate now. Hissing in the dark only her yellowish eyes seemed to glow and even they vanished in the dark, slowly.

"Because of fellow Jedi like me? I am no Jedi anymore, brother." She spit out that last words. "And funny how you see things, considering it is you fighting this war and me avoiding it, is it? Maybe you underestimate the dangers of following orders." He could hear her grin and he could hear she stepped back further every second. "But save my soul. Slay my master in my place as you have come down here to do. I shall accept the simple truth you are much better suited to murder her than I am. Give my soul a little . . . harmony." And a new powerful presence entered Erian´s mind. Saya. She was closer now and she did no longer hide her presence.

The smuggler rolled his eyes and then took out something from his pocket. A thermal detonator, one of the smaller models. "I´d say we make sure they won´t follow us anytime soon." He smirked. And then looked at Callista. "I am sorry about your friend, but maybe we should now take care of those children. If she died for them, I do not wanna loose any. You take their rear, I am with you in a second."

"Sir." The officer in front of the group, a tall good looking human, nodded to Darth Korsin. "You should follow us. The time window in which the security won´t detect you is small enough without wasting any time." He turned and lead the way, his misgiving were obvious, but not hostile in nature. The mousedroid reported back to Korsin over his communicator, but it reported not what it had been meant to. everything had obviously been prepared for the Sith Lord to arrive and the Admiral had taken no chances. Computer reboot had frozen security, cameras where off, logs forged. There was no visitor and not even the admiral was officially on board the ship. but he was. As the doors opened before Darth Korsin a small and hairy Drall stood there in a blue uniform. Turning he nodded to the good looking human and the man vanished. "Lord Korsin." He smiled and stepped to the holo-table between the two men. In the far corner of the room a droid was waiting, blackened metal and red eyes. The Admiral was indeed a cautious man. It was an TX Assassin droid, a Sith machine which was used to hunt down lesser Jedi. the Sith had lost one several month ago and without a doubt it had found the way to Corellia.

"A pleasure to meet you." The Admiral smiled and revealed the sharp teeth of a Drall.

It is not murder, it is justice, he had wanted to say but stilled his tongue at the last second before he could. It did not register in his mind that this woman had been Saya's apprentice, for his focus immediately zeroed in on Saya herself the moment he felt her presence flare in the Force like a beacon in the night. Erian waited until the fallen Jedi had gone before he turned and followed the path that would take him to Saya.

But as he walked, he replayed the exchange of words with the Fallen Jedi. He should have killed her for simply having fallen to the Darkside. She would be a threat in the future but the Force had compelled him to turn her away from the path she had walked upon. He did not understand why, only that it had to be done. Do not make me regret sparing you, he thought but did not project.

Erian raised the emerald blade before him to guide his way through the dark sewers. <Done with hiding, Saya?> he sent, his tone much different than it had been when he had first set out to hunt this Jedi. It was weary. He was still young for a Jedi, but he felt several lifetimes older right now. The Fallen's words and Saya's own occasional remarks had chipped at the proverbial armor he wore.

Callista looked at the smuggler and rolled her own eyes, “Men and their explosions.” She turned and headed off after the kids. “Be sure not to look at it when it goes off, ‘heroes don’t look at explosions’.” The tunnels were, well tunnels, there didn’t seem to be much to them, other than their convenience. Smugglers were more about convenience than appearances, well for their equipment and assets anyway. She knew plenty of smugglers who would spend quite a bit of their earnings on their physical appearance anyway.

Her mind however was quickly back on the job. Going with the smugglers would very likely get her away from the Jedi, and most likely off planet, but it didn’t help her get where she needed to go. Add to that that all her equipment, and clothes, were on her ship, sitting in lockdown in a spaceport. She could at least deal with that when the time came. For now she needed to focus on helping these kids get off planet, that hadn’t been Saya’s original intent, maybe not at all, but Callista had reasons of her own to want to help the kids.

    Vencin Dermun
    Battle of Nesron

Neither attack connected which, while Ven knew deep down was going to happen, was nonetheless disheartening. Despite his reckless charge against the Sith Lord, Ven felt a strange calmness suddenly take hold of him. In a moment, there was a very big chance that he was going to no longer be alive.

Lorka was stronger both with the Force and with the blade and Ven was a lone Padawan that sought to do the impossible and topple him. But during the seconds that saw him drawing closer to the Sith, Ven once again reviewed his chances of escape. Impossible. Sith forces were gaining ground, surrounding but not converging around the three combatants. Even if Ven somehow achieved victory or escaped, more then likely Lorka's allies would turn towards him and seek out revenge.

Whether victory or defeat in this duel, Ven's chances of living after either outcome were slim.

I have regrets but one of them will not be not doing all that I could here...no matter how bleak the situation.

That thought seemed gave Ven focus. The fighting all around them - between the Sith and the Republic - became nothing but background noise which he easily tuned out. What would happen to Nesron if the Republic failed here he no longer thought about. The tragedies he had inadvertently assisted in the past were forgotten. There was nothing for him to think about except this him, Lorka, and the struggling Janus inbetween them.

Despite how useless it had proved to be earlier, Ven nonetheless thrust out his hand towards Lorka as he ran, launching another Force Push against the Sith Lord. Pulling it back, Ven then thrust out with his other hand to send a second telekinetic push towards Lorka. They may prove as ineffective as they were before, but Ven had no reason to hold back now. That, and he was trying to do all he could to get Lorka off balance...if such a thing was possible.

By the time Ven sent a third - and final - Force Push at Lorka, the gap would have closed a second later and he would be in range of the Sith Lord's lightsabers. Here, Ven would drop to his back, sliding along the sand and dirt while a hand reached out. Instead of sending yet another Push towards Lorka, however, the Padawan instead summoned Janus's lightsaber to him. The hilt slapping into the palm of his hand, Ven would try a desperate - and perhaps final - attack as he activated the blade and slashed at the Sith Lord's legs while he slid past.

Masaya was as good as dead now. Unfortunate. She had been useful, in her own way. It was always a pity to lose someone useful. But that was what rash action got you in this line of work. Dead. But presumably not before the Imbued were finished doing lots of terrible things to you. They were consistent, those Imbued. That was about the only polite adjective 655321 had for them.

"Oh, you know how it is - took a wrong turn, wound up somewhere I'm probably not supposed to be, whatever it is that really burns you fuzz types." He chuckled. "Heh, just kidding. Little in-joke I've got with my CO, sometimes I forget it doesn't transfer to well." He glanced around. "Why? Something going on in this district? I've sort of been off the grid for a couple of hours, not really paying attention. Shore leave. You know how it is."

He made a quick probe with the Force at the place he hid his blaster, just to reassure himself. You never knew.

Equality. It was the single thing in this entire galaxy that every being strived for...or most of them, at least. The Jedi liked to see themselves as the exception to that rule and they made others suffer because of their ignorance. They weren't really interested in maintaining balance and order, but it was all about the power and achieving greatness through the expression of those super-human powers. In that respect, they were not much better than the Sith, the very beings who they viewed as the enemy. In this current conflict, they were both considered the enemy.

Little did they know that the people did not view them as saviors or role-models. They were afraid and when they were afraid, they did irrational things. It was that kind of mentality that was helping to fuel this war. It was time to knock the Jedi down a peg or two and show them the true worth of humanity.

A door had opened and Thom was not about to step away from it.

Rising from the desk to stand even with Tane, he looked the other man in the eye as he extended his hand. "You have my word; you shall remain safe under my watch. This war has gone on too long and has caused way too many hardships for me to ignore this offer." He paused and offered a shrewd smile. "For equality."

    Name: Urijah
Aliases: Urijah the Red, Urijah the Tainted
    Age: 28
    Occupation: Jedi Adventurer
Appearance: (Red-haired around medium length and one green eye and one yellow)
(Wields one teal and one silver lightsaber)
Special Skills: Extremely talented in lightsaber combat using Soresu, Jar-kai, and Juyo. Wields two light sabers when necessary, but normally uses one. He is also a fairly talented pilot, learning from multiple trips into Wild Space and back. Very solid force user, uses it to enhance his speed and agility. He can also use it effectively in combat using push, pull, and occasionally lightening to catch his enemies off guard.
Bio: Urijah grew up in an orphanage on a planet called Norit-12 in the Outer Rim. His mother died during complications in child-birth likely due to the fact he was the product an artificial insemination from the spirit of Freedon Nadd. During his childhood a jedi master who had stopped on Norit-12 sensed a strange presence coming from the orphanage he was living in. The jedi master adopted the child and brought him to the Order. They concluded that he had great potential but also sensed an uneasiness about him. Throughout his training he has had struggles with the dark side but eventually overcame them when, during his trials, he faced his Sith father in the form of his mother in a hallucination brought on by Freedon Nadd. Never feeling quite right around other jedi he decided to take the path of an adventurer journeying alone out into Wild Space doing what he loved: Eradicating any Sith presence he felt(This earned him the nick-name Urijah the Red after he slaughtered a group of Dark Jedi tormenting several moisture farmers on Tatooine) and helping those who needed it along the way.
But now Urijah is coming back from his last trip into Wild Space feeling extremely uneasy about a dark disturbance he felt growing like a wild fire in the core of the galaxy.

    Terryn Kae
    Nesron battlefield

One swift sweep of his blade. . .

He stared into the glowing eyes of the robot . . .

And for a moment, he was back in front of that Sith girl, her body laid out before him. . .

He kept swinging his blade, and the droid’s robotic head bounced away. He only had a second or two to breathe before more men and women were tailing him yet again. He grabbed Arek’s hand and yanked him up off the ground, offering a “you’re welcome” as he did so. As he fought and battled, he noticed something. Something strange was in the air. He tried to determine what it was, but he almost had his own arm off as he did so. He spun around and met some strange Zabrak woman’s blade. Her eyes seemed to be on fire, and she continued to spin her blade in his direction. Most likely, she had no idea who she was confronting.

As he slashed at her chest, and she fell backwards, her lightsaber slipping from her fingertips, Terryn held his lightsaber a few inches from her face. The glow illuminated her face, and its expression convinced Terryn that he would have to spare her. He couldn’t kill her like this. . .

“We are sorry to tell you, Padawan Kae. . .but your mother. . .your mother is one with the Force. . .”

Terryn felt something powerful through his veins, and it was almost uncontrollable. He could hear her scream above all the rest as he put her out of her misery. Terryn moved away from her body, and the anger possessed him again. All these people. . .they had killed his mother. . .and he heard far away, the Chosen One shouting orders. He would kill Sith, that was what he would do.

And he would do it good.

Slashing and swiping and slashing and swiping and slashing. . .

He could see shapes, and knew there were people in front of him, but the anger and the Force had taken over. He was. . .not himself.

So Terryn did simply what he had on Bakura.

    He killed.

Mod OOG: Jumpin_Jesus Welcome to the boards!

I do apologize for those stickies, our help threads were all hit by truncation issues that the boards are having following our server migration, and we restructured the boards, so there's quite a bit of mess. That said, the rules in this thread specifically ask for CSes to be sent to the GM for approval, so you do need to contact Sir_Draco via Conversation prior to posting in such things. Also, our social thread here is a good place to ask questions, as someone there can often help you out.

I leave the exact manner of handling these posts to Draco's discretion and have already PMed him on the matter.

There it was, tickling down her spine like a small spider exploring her back. A feeling, subtle, almost unperceivable, but slowly growing on the horizon of her awareness. Danger. Hostile intend. It was close, it was already here. Maybe it waited for the Jedi to leave, maybe it simply needed a bit more preparations, but whatever it was it did not yet attack, did not yet take action.Zara had to wait a little longer.

But soon it would and Zara probably knew that, no matter how ignorant the Jedi and Politician where to this truth.

He was an adept tactician, and was not at all ignorant of the fact that had Kae not arrived when he did he would have been dead, his torso cleaved in two. Not like it would have mattered in the overall mathematics of the kind of war they were now involved in, he would have just been swallowed up by the insatiably hungry death they fed so many Jedi to every single day. Of course, that didn't mean he wasn't grateful.

As the headless mechanical being collapsed to the ground in a motionless heap, Longstar frustratingly pounded his gloved right hand into the dusty Nesron soil before lifting it up to accept a hoist from Kae. The other man seemed oddly distant, as if he was envisioning something other than the battle around them. He opted to not address Kai with any more than a simple and solemn nod of appreciation, and while taking a moment to collect himself saw the man turn back to the battle. Something was rapidly changing in Kae’s demeanor, but there was nothing Longstar could or even wanted to do for him. He knew what the man was capable of, and it wasn’t measured restraint.

Before he had a chance to comm any of the Imbued officers for combat status reports, he became aware of Lora Skywalker calling to him, half within the Force and half with her own voice. Considering the overall volume of the battle around them, she had to be nearby.

    ”Longstar!"

Her tone was deathly urgent, and Arek quickly shook his hood off his head, looking in the direction of the yell. He could see her as she pointed her green saber to the west, and the location of the embattled 115th Army.

”Half your forces into the Sith’s back!” She continued, before returning to a nearby melee.

Whipping his head left then right, Arek had only moments to survey the battlefield. What he observed was something he had hoped for since the initial planning phases in orbit – the Sith hadn’t fully responded to the landing of Atlas, they were too fixed on their attempt at crushing the rest of the 115th.

Skywalker’s assessment of the situation was correct. Arek turned back toward the center of Atlas Group’s perimeter, a small encirclement filled with deployed combat barricades, equipment crates, and shell craters. He saw the black-armored Imbued General Hertstrom crouched nearby, accompanied by a communications trooper and a few non-commissioned officers. Arriving beside the general, he hurriedly explained what was about to happen. “Hertstrom, congratulations on getting us some breathing room. However the 115th is about to be crushed,” he crouched down and drew a circle in the thick dust with his index finger, “this is us.” Next he divded the circle down the center, and drew an arrow attached to the western side pointing toward the beleaguered 115th. “We’re going to split apart the formation to assist the 115th, while leaving half here as a rear guard against Sith reinforcements. Get the word out to all of our officers. I’ll be leading the westward attack, while Terryn Kae and Skywalker remain here to prevent the Sith from breaking through. We go now.”

Knowing that the general and his staff were immediately acting on and relaying his commands, Longstar jumped to his feet and ignited his saber. His sprint across the center of Atlas’ perimeter took a few seconds, and stepping through the western edge of his reinforcements’ lines, he could see in the distance the Sith horde that had engaged the 115th – and their backs were to them.

He turned around and held his blue saber high for the Imbued, enlisted, and Jedi alike to see. “Do you feel it?” he shouted at the top of his lungs, the Force adding weight to his words, “This is where we turn the tide. Not only of this battle, but Nesron is where we turn the tide of the war!” He screamed out a battle yell, and many of those assembled joined in. “For the Jedi, and for our Republic! Charge!”

Spinning on his boot heel he stepped off, making sure to not only keep pace with his warriors, but to close the distance to the disorganized Sith line with as much shock value as possible.

Momentum in a battle was everything, and this was the Jedi’s last move.

    GM Approved!
    Name: Urijah
Aliases: Urijah the Red, Urijah the Tainted
    Age: 28
    Occupation: Jedi Adventurer
Appearance: (Red-haired around medium length and one brown eye and one yellow)
(Wields one teal and one light purple lightsaber)
Special Skills: Extremely talented in lightsaber combat using Soresu, Jar-kai, and Juyo. Wields two light sabers when necessary, but normally uses one. He is also a fairly talented pilot, learning from multiple trips into Wild Space and back. Very solid force user, uses it to enhance his speed and agility. He can also use it effectively in combat using push, pull, and occasionally lightening to catch his enemies off guard.
Bio: Urijah grew up in an orphanage on a planet called Norit-12 in the Outer Rim. His mother died during complications in child-birth likely due to the fact he was the product an artificial insemination from the Sith Lord, Darth Vibre. During his childhood a Jedi master who had stopped on Norit-12 sensed a strange presence coming from the orphanage he was living in. The Jedi master adopted the child and brought him to the Order. They concluded that he had great potential but also sensed an uneasiness about him. Throughout his training he has had struggles with the dark side but eventually overcame them when, during his trials, he faced an embodiment of his darker side brought on by a hallucination from his first encounter with his father who had attempted to tap into his darker side with the hallucination. Throughout the rest of his training he became disgusted with the way the Jedi were treating people who stood in their way the of the Sith. He witnessed other Jedi knights commit horrible atrocities upon innocent people and Sith alike. The Jedi he had read about in his time at the orphanage were not the ones that he saw now. Never being able to feel quite right around other Jedi due to the horrors he had witnessed he decided to take the path of a Jedi Adventurer. With a new path laid out before him Urijah took his first steps onto it eradicating any dangerous dark presences he came across and always helping people who needed it throughout his journey.

Now Urijah is coming back from a trip to Wild Space based on an extremely hard decision he had to make about the war. He knew that even though the horrible things Jedi would do, they were still Jedi and were still trying maintain peace in the galaxy. Though he would be working with people who clashed intensely with his own personal beliefs, he knew he could not hide from how real the Sith threat really was.

    Corellia

The Coronet Market and the tunnels below

Of the many planets the force could have lead him to, it had brought Urijah to the Corellia system. Neutral they called it or at least as neutral as a member planet of the Third Republic could be. But even the term The Third Republic was old fashioned, the way people called it still a few years back when Urijah had left for Wild Space. Now it was the Jedi Protectorate and at it´s top was not a senate, but a council. A small council of four very powerful and very influential Jedi Masters ruled the remains of the Republic and lead the relentless war effort the Jedi organized against the invading Sith. Corellia was also known for not liking the situation exactly. Their leaders had voiced concern over the lack of democracy, the lack of non-force sensitive influence in this war.
And of all possible places in the galaxy, the force had brought Urijah here. A disturbance, a massive disturbance in the force he had felt. But now, on this market place he felt none of it. It was evening and Coronet City was slowing down. Poor people were now on the streets to beg for credits and sell their goods. And yet something made Urijah come here, a mysterious calling. As he was about to enter the tunnels at the eastern end of the city he suddenly heard a voice from the left. “I would not go in there Master Jedi.” The hissing came from the corner, where a man stood. “They bring the ill here, the Selonian tunnels, they call them. Because only Selonians catch the plague.” He smiled and made sure he remained in the darkness of the shadows for now.

Urijah was not the only one nearing those tunnels. There was a second entrance on the western side and Seron Hayan was entering there und the watchful eyes of two Corellian security guards in Hazmat suits. The Selonian tunnels, the bounty hunter had learned, where not so hard to get to after all. Not a tour, but any helping convoy in the city he just had to follow and there he was. Tunnels made into quarantine stations, made into tombs, as the Selonians inside were left to die. War had changed people. When they smelled death, they were ready to take any step to keep it away from them. And as Serith entered there was plenty of death. Coughing, hairy Selonians were everywhere, dying, trying to ease their pain by any means necessary. They lay on beds and those beds were organised in lines reaching from one side of the huge halls to the others, while from all sides tunnels reached this hall.
“Can I help you?” A young, blonde human woman in the uniform of the TRMC (Third republic Medical Corp) was greeting him, obviously concerned to see any armed man down here. “You are not looking for a relative, I´d say.” She smiled at that sad joke. The illness only infected Selonians, obviously.

    The Battle of Nesron

Vencin saw the cold certainty of victory in the Sith´s eyes, as Janus collapsed to his knees to hteir right and the dying Jedi´s lightsaber found Vencin´s hand. An attack to the legs became little less than a helpless strike. The Sith had anticipated the attack, his lightsaber had awaited Vencin´s and in an answer had wiped it away with such power the young Jedi stumbled back. Unbalanced, open against the Sith attack and helpless he saw the second blade of the Sith rise and then . . . it fell from the Sith hand. Something had flashed up, something had . . .
Lord Lorka´s head tumbled on the floor, his mouth opened wide and the mockery dying in his eyes. Severed with one strike so fast and powerful the bare eye could hardly see it the Sith had probably never realized he was dead. And next to his body dust raised from the ground, as a young Jedi woman landed their, her green glade at her side. The force had lead Lora Skywalker straight to her goal, over all the battlefield, high above the Sith she had leaped into the center of the western line and her blade had found the enemy.

Lorka´s death resonated into the force. The Sith felt their General die over the field and so did Mufassa Odi. Lorka was dead and he had died nearby. And there, just as another spit of acid ate into another Imubed the Pack saw her. The woman with the green blade and two young Jedi, one human, one Devaronian were there and right before her a beheaded Lorka collapsed. “Worthy prey.” The thought went through all three packs and the beasts let go their current victims to order their lines.

Not far away Terryn Kae felt the absence of Lora Skywalker who had been commanded to his side. She had left and the Imbued and the few Jedi now holding Atlas landing spot were surrounded by Sith. Kae´s blade danced and cut down one Sith after another, but there came more. Atlas was meant to buy time, the other troop parts would win the battle. But what would become of Atlas?
Kae never ended the thought, as he saw in the lines of the Sith, not too far away, the white mask of a tall Sith. The Slayer. The legendary murderer of Jedi was on his way to their position. “Hold!” Jedi Knight Lousea yelled. The Cerean woman was not a good warrior, but she could inspire her soldiers.”Hold the line!” Her Imbued pushed back, but she exchanged looks with Kae and they probably both knew it. None of the Jedi fighting here to keep back the Sith was a match for the Slayer.

Arek Longstar and his troops pushed and pushed hard right into the back of those Sith hunting the first line on the field. And the force as with them, as the General 115th who commanded the second line of defense realized the situation and the his troops opened fire with all they had. Caught between the fire and the attack soldiers of the Atls elite and cut of from all reinforcements of their own, usually numerical superior, troops the Sith quickly fell back into defense. 500 Imbued and a dozen Sith were suddenly trapped. And among them was at least one truly powerful. Arek felt the near-human over the field and saw him in his black robes, with his tattooed, nose-less face and evil grin. And Vibre, the Sith who had proclaimed himself leader of these lines now looked back and grinned at the Jedi, as if death was an old friend he had awaited.

"Their line is breaking!" Hertstrom yelled next to Arek and shots hissed past them.

The man winked to her and left for the exit to plant his detonator. It was barely a minute later the explosion rocked through the tunnels and he came running out of the dust cloud. “They were already down here, but they won´t find us here or follow us through this.” He pointed behind him with a thumb and grinned. The tunnel was only a wall of debris now, as the detonator had shattered the structure completely. “I am Toben, by the way.” He said to Callista and offered his hand.
The children and their guardians kept on moving. The tunnel was long and dark, but finally after several long minutes they heard the front of the children hceer and they reached something . . . a huge cavern. Here were even more children and several more childpushers. And at the end was a speeder. A loader, as the miners called the huge cargo-carriers. “Not made for underground use, but despite being bulky, it can handle the narrow corridors pretty well.” Toben explained. “with that one, we will need only a few minutes!” He yelled and with a sign of his hands he ordered his men to load the children into it. One wave of the hand, one sign. Probably only now Callista would realize these ordinary looking man were some kind of military unit.

“Before this is over, you will regret having allowed her to stay alive.” The voice came from the darkness in front of Erian Serenni and in the moment of doubt when his mind had been less focused Saya had obviously sneaked up on him. Why would she come to him? Hard to say.
“Not only ,but also because many things she aid hold the terrible cold sharpness of the uninvited truth, do they? Jedi?” The blind woman stepped into the dim light of Erian´s lightsaber. In her small, fine hands she held her own weapon, but she had not yet ignited it. “Just as I have foreseen.” She remarked cooly and turned her head, as if hse could actually see anything.

    Leele Tane
The Office of the Prime Minister

He gave the Prime Minister one of his sad but honest smiles. "For equality." He repeated the words and took the datapd he had prepared out of his pocket. It contained every bit of info that might lead to him being traced in all public records of the Corellian system and a secured line of communication when needed. If the Prime Minister held his word and Lele elt he might, he would probably be able to end this madness. And change the galaxy. He had never been the kind of Jedi who wanted to do that. Now he would try.

He shrugged at the thought of hte monumental quest he was on but then nodded one last time. "We will meet again." He said and turned to leave, having the feeling something was wrong and yet that he had to go now. Was something . . .

"Prime Minister?" He nodded and turned, to leave the room politely, pretty sure none of hte concern had shown in his face.

    Urijah
    Outside the Coronet City Tunnels

And then the feeling faded away. Urijah hated that. The disturbance was remarkable when he made his way from the landing bays and in the thinner parts of the city. As he wandered deeper and deeper into the market the feeling grew even more faint. He neared the tunnels and paused as a shadow hissed at him: “I would not go in there Master Jedi. They bring the ill here, the Selonian tunnels, they call them. Because only Selonians catch the plague.”

Urijah looked at the man suspiciously at the man and said, "Thanks, but I think I'll take my chances." As he took his first step into the tunnels he was hit with a series of dreadful scents. His eyes watered from it, fear, death, sadness, all permeated the stale air in the tunnels. Dead or dying Selonian's lined the walls of the tunnels as Urijah ventured deeper into the tunnels. Somehow though, that was when the disturbance had completely left him. Reaching out with the Force as far as he was capable it just seemed to end in the tunnels. Not feeling completely convinced, Urijah looked around for a figure of authority in the tunnels, but all he saw was the sickly Selonians. Slowly Urijah made his way though the tunnels scanning the walls for any well being. At last he found it. A TRMC soldier was tending to a horrible looking Selonian child.

"Excuse me! Might I ask what has happened here?" Urijah called out as he quickly made his way to the TRMC solider.
