Chris, I hope you do realise that my Fan Force wants a DVD of Formula...

 

Although it was our plan to have DVD's for different clubs/organizations at release, that's been part of the stuff pushed back until August/September. Steve's gone as of tomorrow morning, so i have no way to work on development of that project, and i have no intention of doing any of it without him.

Although, this is what we WANT to have on the DVD (and will also be on the website):

-Deleted scenes (more accurately, extended versions of existing scenes)
-Commentary tracks (more than one...including an MST3k track )
-Blooper reel (Sure to be longer than the film itself)
-Annotated script
-Digital Llama Radio extras
-interviews (i have no idea why, but hey, every other DVD has them)
-News clips (we've already got one from the line for Episode II, and more should be coming with the premiere)
-Interactive Menus (why do people insist on calling this a feature.... sigh)

And more, i'm sure. Our current plan is to release these on our TFN section as they're finalized and then make the DVD. Right now, the time frame for Steve's return is very VERY hazy so i really couldn't speculate.

Until then, I will be sending out VHS copies to organizations and FanForce-s, though it will take time. I'll let everyone know when we're accepting requests.

Exactly how big does a fanforce region have to be to get a copy on VHS? Will one do?

And Daft, I will tell you that the edited comment had something to do with "brits".

P.S. I do not promote racism, prejudice, or favoratism of any nationality over another in any shape, form, or fas... well maybe sometimes. But only in a humorous context.

 

We'll try to do individual requests, too, but organizations and the media will take first priority. Bonus points if you can send your own blank VHS tape.

Also, an update...

the film's ready to go, i'm sending it out to our lucky compressor today. Who, you may ask? Mr. Golden_Y has stepped into the role of hero, saving us at the 11th hour by offering his services to get it on the web for us. When you watch the film online, keep in mind it's due to his good graces that it's up this quickly.

Sorry, I really am looking foward to this, and when I go to wisconsin, I want to be able to show it to my friends who are in my fanfilm and aren't big star wars fans... I think they'll get a kick out of this movie... I think it's the only fanfilm I would even bother showing them... they just wouldn't be interested in the others

Another update:

Tape got sent out at 1PM today, spent the extra few bucks to make sure it shows up tomorrow morning.

Looks like a couple differrent news channels are going to be covering it, i'll make sure to bug them for copies.

Anyways, i'm outtie, back home in awhile..
