This is IMHO the best writer of thrillers around(much better than Tom Clancy). His books are realistic and always have a little twist(sometimes a big one)in the end.My favorite book of him is The Fist of God but I also liked very much of the Day of The Jackal.

    Any comments?

The only book I've read of his was "Phantom of Manhattan" which I hated not only because of his pompous forward, but also the way he slaughtered the characters. (And the fact that it was boring.)

Frederick Forsyth is awesome. The Fourth Protocol and The Devil's Alternative are two of my favorite books

As for Phantom of Manhattan, that's not exactly a good example of Forsyth's work. Read his suspense stuff if you want a better example...

The best examples of Forsyth books are the day of the jackal and the fist of god.For a Summer-book of him go for Icon.

I thought The Fist of God was actually kind of dull.
