The Frozen Pancake Debate... Just how far should we go?

    It started with Eggos. Now, no one complained when they started freezing waffles and pre-packaging them for those of us inclined to be a bit more lackadaisical. But in the past few years, we've started adding pancakes. And french toast. And even strudle.

    What next? At what point do we cross the line and start playing chef?

    I'll admit. I've succumbed to buying Aunt Jemimah's frozen pancakes in a moment of weakness. And it only took me 30 seconds to have a stack of three fluffy pancakes.... but I felt dirty afterwards. Thank God. At least I can say I still have a small piece of my humanity in tact. I will never do it again. Pancakes should be left to creation.

    I believe that toaster waffles are the ultimate expression of capitalist laziness. We are so dang lazy that we can't even flip our own pancakes. Waffles you could pass off with the last generation's waffle irons, but come on!
