That's pretty tricky. I think they do it by identifying which group of numbers is yours by the color you click on in the beginning (the pink numbers, blue numbers, etc.). The second one where you click on any color is just a superflous extra step; then I think they make sure that they arrange the numbers in the houses so that no two numbers are the same color; they know which one you picked because of the color you clicked on in the beginning.

I think I analyzed that one way too much.

I dunna get it. What happened in the Deadly Hallows that was like Star Wars? I read the book but I don't remember.

 

I think it's just more of the correlation between Star Wars and Harry Potter. Orphans raised by their aunt and uncle, special powers, old mentors, defeating evil, John Williams music, etc.
