Anyone notice the typo on the homestead one? *pokes librarian* Anyone?

 

I'm a librarian, not a spelling/English teacher. I don't teach the kiddies how to use or spell the words, I just read the words to them. For goodness sake, why do you think I love grammer and spell check!!

Okay, I'll bite. What's the problem with the homestead one?

 

I think she spelled smouldering in English instead of American? It does come up when I do a Google search on it

 

I just checked my handy dandy electronic dictionary. When I put "smoulder" in, it came up with: smolder or smoulder. Bottom line, ya'll got the picture. My lack of spelling prowess probably isn't a big shock.

 

In the picture it is spelled "smoudlering" instead of the proper "smouldering."
