Drat! I'm gonna be in Hawaii April 4th. And I seriously doubt my mum is going to let me miss school anymore this year. Well for vacations anyway.

Maybe if I am a good little girl and I beg and get good grades..........

Maybe she'll let me go since it's a shuttle launch and I have been begging to see one since I moved to Florida.

How about we play Sabbaac?

Not true sabbac. Our current state of technology does not permit playing cards to change values at random. However I can design and print out a deck, or several decks, of sabbac cards.

I am down for camping.
You truly can not appreciate the Joy of the great outdoors until you wake up to being tied to a spit and having an Ewok chewing on our leg!
It'll be a nice, and affordable way to bond with each other.

I like I said before am doing some serious begging. Now my sister wants to come. I told she had to like Star Wars first and she said so.

Anyhow, April 4th I go away and that would make feb 28 the only sorta good day. I say sorta good cause my dad is going away again.

That means I may have to have my cousin or someone else take me and maybe my little sis Kiki.

 

camping......hmmm. It is a great way to bond. Done quite a bit of camping myself. Though I'm not sure I would like an Ewok chewing on my leg.

 

I've only been camping once. And I didn't find an ewok chewing on my leg. It actually came in the form of a real frog and a snake. The frog was in my bag and the snake was sitting just outside of our tent. It was funny.

But I went camping at teh Disney camp grounds, so I don't know if that would qualify as real camping.

why wait till summer for astronomy night??

 

Camping eh? Wild life, open grounds, grass in my toes, birds over head... Hmm... I could do that.

 

Ia has a point. We could camp and have an astronomy night. Just keep Ewoks baring BarBQ sauce away from me.

Actually, I always felt that camping in the winter was better. Less bugs. Especially ticks.

If anyone needs to borrow a telescope I've got one. I think I still have it. Unless it went bye-bye when my parents built my dnace floor. I'll check.

<g> If you just have a basic telescope (i.e. no computerized tracking equipment and stuff) it's pretty straightforward to use. Like Darryl said, it's pretty much point and--um, click. We can use my telescope if you guys want to go to Wisconsin.

There's a camping place about 10 minutes from my place in Titusville, but I've never been there. I don't even know if it's mainly for RV's or not. I can look into it, but it's not exactly the most rural place that I've ever been.

And one of these days I'm gonna make everyone go ice skating after a meeting. I know it's kinda disjointed to throw that in here, but I'm too lazy to put it in a separate post.

Ice skating, now there is an idea!

 

The telescope dosen't have any computer stuff in it. I have actually used it and have seen Saturn and get really good shots of the moon. I'm just not that good with it.

There is a place around here called Blue Springs. They have camping both in cabins and tents. They also have swimming if anyone is into 60 degree water.
I've been there once, but don't remember a whole lot about it.

Ice skating would be fun! I love watching people fall down!!

I tend not to like camping. I distrust nature unless I'm burning or eating it.

 

Hockey would be sweet. Scrounge some sticks and I'm there.
