What's with "In order of chronological removal?" Can't we go with the simpler, and more direct "Worst Presidents?"

Well the game goes until there's only one President left, so we'd end up including a lot of "good presidents" in that category too. And our Republican friends might not like that label. ;)

Mostly because while these would make a lot of people's short lists, I'm not so sure they'd actually be a pick of 'worst president' for a lot of people when regarding the entire list. I think with the first two it might have been, as Raven suggested, a reflex measure in knowing those Presidents would get support and to see them hangning around would have been very annoying.

Realistically as someone who considering themselves denied the chance of writing "Reagan -2" or "George W Bush -2", even I have to acknowledge that both Hoover and Buchannan proved considerably worse at the job of President.

And... Jackson's got the whole Native American thing working against him.

Everyone knows Washington, Teddy, Lincoln, FDR will probably stay at the top.

Everyone knows Reagan, Bush 43, Jackson, Buchanan, Hoover will probably be at the bottom.

It's everyone in the middle that's interesting. :D Whenever someone adds or subtracts from a President I'm not familiar with, I look them up on Wikipedia to see if I agree.

I took points from Reagan, but left Bush 43 alone. I think he and Clinton are still too early to tell what their legacy will be.

I don't think it's a given that REAGAN would end up at the bottom. I mean, he's in around the bottom of MY list, but I was under the impression he was well liked or tolerated by many.

EDIT: violated golden rule. I left the Reagan stuff in becuase I never actually voted one way or the other for him. Similarly with Jackson

And? Since the game ends when everyone has been eliminated. Since boosting someone's score and refusing to subtract points from someone both have the same end effect (prolonging their stay in the game (and vice versa, with subtracting points/refusing to add having equivalent effects) I don't see how it's "unfair" or a misinterpretation of what we're doing. Adding points only increases the strategic complexity of the game, by allowing people to play defense for their preferred people, rather than simply attacking all the time.
