Not sure what caused me to think of this place today, but it suddenly occurred to me that my 10 year anniversary is right about now. And it really does seem like it's been that long. I'm amazed that I only spent 9 months actually posting here but yet 10 years later I still bother to check back on it.

SoaH, I totally relate to that! I drop by here every few months or so and spend about a week or so lurking and posting. Then real life rears its ugly head again and I'm gone for a few more months. The JC isn't as much a part of my life as it was in the "old days," but it will always be a part of my life, and I will always stop by from time to time to touch base with some of the old gang. Good to see you again.

I'm slightly annoyed only to be a moderator emeritus. I was an Administrator (AKA Jedi Master) fair and square before they moved us to these boards with the fancy admin/moderator distinction. Harumph

 

My question for jasman goes unanswered.

 

To be fair, there is a lot about jasman that that remains unanswered, and it's probably best that it remains as such.

In the meantime, I need some sleep, waking up in Orlando this morning and going to bed in Des Moines tonight really dulls one's thought processes.

 

Couldn't you just ask to have your title changed?

My 10 year anniversary is coming up, as well. I only really spent around 4 years actually posting, so maybe it's not that big a deal. Still, it's amazing how much my life has changed during that span of time. When I registered I was a 15 year old boy. Now I'm a 25 year old woman.

 

It's a big deal, because I remember a lot of your posting (under your other usernames here, of course ), and I'm sure others do as well. Congrats, also, on that major change in your life. I'm sure it wasn't easy decision, but whatever makes you happy. That's all that matters.

Wow, my last post here for my tenth year aniversary was over a year ago!

 

I saw Star Wars: In Concert last night and it was such an awesome experience, it inspired me to post on these forums for the first time in over three years! I was looking through my post history and remembered this thread, and I see a lot of familiar names on this page, although the posts go back months so who knows how often you all check in here. But hi, everyone! Hard to believe it's been over eleven years now since I joined... In my profile the job title is Student, which I probably added when I was still in high school. That job title is still accurate.
