Wow, I log into JCC for the first time in a few years and this is on the first page. I have lots of fond memories of this thread and I'm glad it still seems to rise up from time to time.
Well, since I always post here when I return... Here I am. The news of the Disney sale brought me back. Could be good times ahead again? It's like the lead up to TPM all over again.
Just wait until we all go ape over blurry footage someone snuck out of an editing bay with their iPhone. Surely some of you guys remember everyone flipping out over the blurry shot of Jar Jar, Qui Gon and Obi Wan in the bongo right before the TPM trailer hit?

C'mon, you should know by know that this is the thread that will never die. It'll probably outlive all of us.
I was looking through some of the conversations I was in here back in 2003ish, and I saw posts where I talked about being pregnant with my first kid. These days he's just discovered internet forums ("spoiler tags, Mom! And fanfiction! And why does everyone hate everything?") and is begging me to let him post on a video game forum he reads obsessively. As he's also obsessed with Star Wars -- at this very moment having a discussion about Jawas with his brother -- my child could actually end up reading here and one day posting here. Mind. Blown.

I was 16 when I created my profile in 1999 and I turn 30 in a couple of months meaning I've been a member here for almost half my life.
Yeah, I know the feeling. Also, I find it amusing (in a good way) that while my life has changed the JC has remained a constant.
