Okay, the idea is simple. Take the books you like less (novel, or comic), and write a review of them, but only about the good you found in it.

This was first 'tested' here, and Genghis gave a very good 'list' of things he liked in The Thrawn Trilogy.

I'd do Planet of Twilight, but it has been too long since I last read it, and I don't remember it very well - at all ? -... But when I read it again - I'll try to do it within the next two months -, I'll be sure to write a 'the good of Planet of Twilight' review.

EDIT : In the reviews, be sure to add WHY you like this in the book, not just WHAT/WHO you like.

The things I liked about this book were the resurrection of a great character, Jag Fel, the Chiss (especially a female ;)) and some of Jaina's scenes are great too.

Anakins character is written ncly, we see him as this cute little kid that misses his favorite droid, Mr. Threepio.

The Good: Finally a good enemy to fight once again (the vong)

The Bad: The fact that Kyle Katarn has not once appeared in the NJO books. They'll kill Chewbacca but not put in a big-time Star Wars character for at least one book for his own partial storyline like Kyle. :(

No bad here, please. Only the good of the BAD. And there must be more than one thing you like in those books.

    PX...yay! Its up!

I think I'll say what I liked about...

    Darksaber

    1. Wampa-hunting. We don't often see that side of the galaxy, the fortune-hunter side. I thought it was cool.

    2. The whole comet thing was pretty silly...but I found myself really wanting to VISIT something like that, just because it would be a lot of fun.

    3. Daala and Pellaeon killing off all the self-styled Moffs and Grand Admiral's. I thought the way that really shook Pellaeon up, and Daala acted like it was just a day in the park...that gave great insight into their characters.

    4. Pellaeon's one comment about Daala...
"As he looked at Daala's image, he wondered what kind of artwork she might like." (Darksaber, 83)
It made me smile when I read it. :)

Thats basically it, and I know I really ticked off PX now, he loves Darksaber.

Follow Mighty_Green_Midget's example, that's exactly what I'd like to see in this thread.

And yes I love Darksaber, but you have all the rights to 'hate' it. :)

    Glove of Darth Vader:

The modified glove its self was a really cool weapon. Gives any non-force user the ability to use some of Vader's tricks.

But, that was caused by some electronic parts that trioculus had his droid insert into the glove. It gave him the ability to parlor tricks that looked and felt like force lightning, but it also had a negative effect and started cause his skin to rot.
